In this video, I demo how to make essential oil and candle burners on the wheel. Starting out with a closed form, and then cutting into it for the candle to sit. I absolutely love using these in my bedroom and bathroom, especially with lavender essential oil.
🔥TIP - I always use water in my oil burner and then add 4-6 drops of oil. You can add more oil as you see fit.

Pardon my curiosity, but after shaping these ceramics into incense burners and letting them dry, don't you fire them in special kilns?

Sure do! They get fired two times..the first firing is a lower heat..that’s called a bisque firing. Then the pieces are glazed and fired again at a higher temperature called a glaze kiln 😊
