Do you like granola? Me, too! For breakfast I love crunchy granola on top of plain yogurt with some fresh fruits. Today, I am going to share my favourite granola recipe. It is cheap, super-easy to make and far healthier than the shop-bought granola. Once you try home-made granola, you won’t go back to store-bought ones!
Please make it and let me know if you like it!

THE VERY BEST GRANOLA:
Ingredients:
• 1 kg Rolled oats (not instant)
• 500 g Chopped nut (I used almond and cashews)
• 3/4 cup olive oil
• 3/4 cup maple syrup or golden syrup
• 400 g sultanas for Dry Fruit Granola
• 200 g roasted coconut chips for Nutty Granola
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 170 c. tip the oats and chopped mixed nuts in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Combine the olive oil and syrup, then pour the mixture into the oats and nuts, and mix well. If using golden syrup, heat the oil and syrup to make it easy to coat the oats and nuts. Tip the mixture onto a large baking tray and move it around so that it covers the try evenly. Put in the oven to toast gently for 45 minutes. After 25 minutes turn the mixture with spatula to toast the underside as well. Put back in the oven for further 20 minutes. Let the granola cool down, for the Fruity Granola add sultanas and mix well. For the Nutty one, add roasted coconut chips and combine. Store in sealed jars for up to 1 months.
Serve with milk or, as I like, on top of yogurt with fresh fruits.
Enjoy it!
