thank you so much for the vid i've been after her for so long and didn't know how to. i've got 1100 hours into the game and this is the first time i've beaten her on nightmare. i'm such a noob still.
This works like a charm. Killed hard version with ease and i only have grade6 +1 ghastly piching machine (TDM season reward) Needed few tries to warm up, but after every run is a easy kill
A liitle update, TDM pitchiung machine +11 does only 1 cycle meaning 1 sting / 1 ammo / 1 invis shroom and i do rage move for pitching machine for more attack speed and damage. RN nightmare is joke now

I'm about to make my first run of Red Napalm on Nightmare. EDIT: With a T4 +1 I had to do an additional cycle but it was easy enough. Good thing I was prepared
SUPER easy method, I highly recommend it to all who are new to Red Napalm. I use Cateye method because I'm fucking crazy LMAO but umbrella is definitely much easier to use. Cateye requires timing (as she forcefields, or towards end of lazer move), Pitching rage knocks her over if she's not agro'd on you (the camera zooms in when she loses agro on you) and you need a mouseshroom to top up rage bars. Actually, you could do this same umbrella method with bowling but bring mouseshrooms to top up bowling rages.
Hey, I tried this on hard mode and damn it was surprisingky wasy. Will be trying it on nightmare however I have a few questions. Should you use the rage move on the pitching machine too? Or does that do same amount of damage bug jisy knocks her back? Also is it possible to use cat eyes shroom instead of umbrella rib fungus? Or will she end up seeing you and then turning invisible?
Rage move knocks her down which might cause some balls to miss and I don't think damage is increased considerably (Critical attacks are the most important, doing 2 to 3 times more damage). She can see you under cat eye effect and will run/become invisible, thus only useful for the last finishing "round". Have fun! :)
Andreas ok cool that’s good. But I’m struggling to find any umbrella rib fungus, currently farming iwojima or something and there’s quite a few scorpions lizards and cateye shrooms but can barely find any rib fungus. Do you have any floors or tips on that?
@@official_gamerhd5260 I used to find regularly on 40+/50+, maybe on 12F Ukongaoka/11F Maka-Tsutsumi you'll get lucky. I used to save them up for one or two tries a week on nightmare since I played daily. ^^
Andreas I’ll have a look there now thanks for your help! 40-50 I haven’t been in a while and I rarely find it on tengoku. How much of a difference would you say there is between hard and nightmare? I’ve got pretty much similar decal setup to urs on an attacker with T4+2. I’ve got stingshrooms plenty of dragon shrooms just need umbrella rib fungus. Don’t have any Dm spare (maybe 1) so I might end up using it
@@official_gamerhd5260 Hard is definitely easier, maybe possible to do in 2 cycles with a grade 6 shooter. Remember to activate Red Napalm quests to get some death metals! Use your best +dex helmet for damage bonus on the pitching machine. Have fun!
carter smith it may require STR, but the damage scales off of DEX by a whole lot. You can find a spreadsheet online by Oberlinx that has all the best scalings for each weapon! ^^
Your method worked out really good I finally beat her thank so much for the guid, but is there any way possible you can substitute the red stings for crush shrooms and get the same results in terms of damage, or does the crush shroom not stack damage the same as sting. If you could explain this or guide me to somewhere in the spreadsheet that explains this that would be great 😁
carter smith Glad you got her! I’m confident they both stack the same way (effect time length), just that stings are the highest damage buff she allows.
@@leparklez I didn't realize she was wiping a particular buff. You have helped me understand why she does that move when she does. I don't know how this is supposed to be intuitive... Thank you!
Haters will block every other ball, so no good. Now on Tengoku I used to bring one exclusively for few bosses that were weak against blunt specially with the right mushrooms in hand it was alright
Hello, i dont know if youre still active but i gotta try.. so uhm, i tried exactly that at the difficulty hard, and she still went invisible eve tho i had the umbrella.. Did they change smth or am i just stupid?
She might have seen you by just a tiny bit. Check your position and or mushroom effect timing. The tiniest slip and it's over. I will play again after the 30th as they will rollout an update
@@leparklez alright, thank you.. ill try again on sunday! When i think about it, i might have walked out from behind the pillar too early because she also shot me once, so i think she saw me.. I might have been just a little stupid xD anyways, thanks for responding! (btw sorry if my english is bad)
Another person complained not too long ago, I have to confirm if they changed her AI. Make sure you're very well hidden and that the mushroom effect kicked in fully before doing anything. Otherwise the whole strategy is compromised.
Chronos Beyond Might work but I don’t have experience myself, I see others using the rage move exclusively. You should try it out and see if it’s viable for you ^^
it’s definitely quite harder because DEX is lower compared to grade 6 - letitdie.fandom.com/wiki/Fighters), but you can try in hard difficulty first and see for yourself! try your best decals, +dex helmet etc
