Yes! Prayer! I believe it! In my experience, I didn’t feel pre shift anxiety when I worked Med-surg or PCU. But when I went to pediatrics and then L&D I noticed I had a lot of pre shift anxiety. I know a lot was just from shift report/shift change because of nurse bullies. Also, certain high-risk patient assignments gave me anxiety and the unknown of what type of assignment I was going to walk into.
Thanks for this. Nursing anxiety is so real! I am trying my best to decrease my preshift anxiety as much as possible... especially with my new job. It is so hard.
Yes, this is exactly how I feel, the night before, etc. I have this book called “The Four Agreements “, I read through it a little and have begun with positive mind training, like you’ve mentioned. It’s a constant work in progress but the support is helpful. Thank you for making this video!
Love the video and topic! Shares like this help so many and make a difference to more than we know! Found inspiration here for my channel and vids! All the support and keep doing you!
