Pro tip from a non pro: if you want an easier time loading and unloading paint from the airbrush amazon has 3ml plastic pipettes 100ct for $6, no spillage and can keep colors from mixing accidentally causing cross contamination... it also makes recipes possible with precise measurements.
Would love to see that double injected with a ZGA hypershift top and ZTG hypershift bottom with lots of large black flake. I think it would make an incredible black crappie pattern.
*I would say it’s dang good since **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s caught a pike first time using it! My cousin had one that cost the same price I paid, but for one. And didn’t catch anything. I say it’s a winner!*

OMG.. Please do more videos with that mold. I have been looking at that mold for a while now too but wasn't sure what I would do with it. I was looking at it again yesterday. I also wanted to get the rocket mold with the line through too. The video was great as always.. would also like to see a video on you doing them swim baits. They look amazing.
CHRIS....Here’s a TIP !! To MIX colors in the paint cup. Put a drop of needed accent color into paint in the cup then COVER THE NOZZLE WITH YOUR FINGER and TRIGGER GENLTLY. THIS WILL BLOW AIR BACK INTO CUP AND DO YOUR MIXING FOR YOU !! Very simple !! Gary
Great Jobs both of the baits the handpour and the airbrushed one! Suppose i have to search for softbait airbrush colours now. The airbrush set waits since month inside the cellar. Great job for the second try.
Been on the fence about buying this exact product and now I know my next purchase. A few cheap droppers work good for getting the paint out of the bottle and into the airbrush without worrying about spilling it. Nice work 👍🏻
Awesome. I REALLY would love a comprehensive video covering all the different methods to add color to soft plastics POST MOLD. Pre-made blank swimbaits are coming up swiftly behind the hard baits and I have struggled to find any info regarding color techniques. If anyone is gonna do it, I figured you would! Cheers
I’ve been airbrushing hard baits for a few years. Just started pouring plastic in December... it’s time to bring them together! Once my pours get better.. a lot better
This is a cool video and Chris did a great job of airbrushing this baits. Chris obviously has a better than average artistic ability. That being said, I purchased this particular mold and the bait's action sucks in the water. If you're going to get into airbrushing soft plastics I strongly recommend a different mold.
that mold is amazing and exactly what ive been looking for in a mold. up here in the north east we only really have bluegill sunfish and yellow perch as the main forage for our bass, pike and pikerel

I just started airbrushing hard plastic baits and it's cool to see it done on soft plastic. I like it you did a great job. I think a cool one would be a craw or a punch bug next! Can't wait for the next video
those gills are sweet man , id like to see you do some other baits with the airbrush to like the grass grenades or a craw or even a swimbait would look awesome to , you could seriously detail the claws and appendages , cool stuff man ✊
For not having a ton of experience airbrushing those bass baits turned out amazing what clear coat do you spray out of your air gun for the soft Plastics?

You have any issues with paint bubbling off after awhile? Even with cleaning the bait before hand, I find oils always work their way to the surface and eventually bubble the paint
I love these kind of videos! They looked good! Your getting good with that airbrush fast! I just want to say that those soft plastic paints are extremely potent. a lot more than regular paint. I could hear the ventilation going, but be carful. and good luck with any more baits to come. Edit: I turned it back on and heard what you said... never mind!!!

I would buy 1 I can’t find any soft lures like that in any stores around me🤦🏻♂️😫 and they slay in my area scared to buy $100to $300 swim baits it would just get snagged and lost lol great job tho🎣🤙🏼
Pro Tip, there's no need to pre heat the mold. Put your larger plastics in a tupperware or bucket full of cold water immediately after taking them out of the mold. You'll have less denting, it will keep it's shape, and it will harden much faster.
@@WorldsWorstFishing Yeah, you're right about pre heating the mold in that situation. Without hydraulic or pneumatic injection, it's tough to overcome. With my setup I can turn up the pressure on the hydraulic cylinder causing it to inject faster. That way the plastisol has less time to cool before it has a chance to cold crack. You get really good detail like that as well, but without sufficient clamping force you can get flashing pretty easy. Love your content btw! I've learned a lot about color watching your stuff!

Great video. Do you airbrush hard plastic lures. If seed so, what primer do you use. Also. If you airbrush hard plastic do you use the same paint as on soft plastic ?
Oh airbrush I thought it was a methpipe cuz I have a hard time fishing when I'm methed up.Like when all the catalytic converters start stacking up all over the pontoon
