I have a new challenge for you, Ryu. I call it the . . . SUPER SUPER EXPERT CHALLENGE You must complete a super expert run, then take the lives you have left and carry them over into another super expert run. In short, complete 12 super expert levels in 100 lives. I think that would make for one hell of a video.

I had an idea for a new kind of level. It would be a short timed level, where you speed through it quickly, just nonstop running and bouncing off of objects and enemies. I think it would be best done with the New Super Mario Bros style, preferably with the castle motif. I dub this new type of level the "New Supe Quick Sprint". Please help make more of these to popularize it.

Wouldn't level 1 be: "A Creepy 30 Second Speedrun With a Lot of Useless Boos" It has been some years since Japanese classes, but I think that is an attributive sentence.
Not going to argue too much here, as I wasn't the best Japanese student myself, but this isn't really about word order so much as it is about what attribute belongs to which subject. Meaningless is attached to the Boos and not to the speedrun itself. But the whole sentence (A lot of useless boos) is an attributive sentence attached to the Speedrun, just as the word creepy is. I mean, it is a silly title but I remember that being a real issue in longer texts.

This Super Expert run was smooth like an oiled soap! While I didn't notice masterpiece of a century among these levels, each of them was pretty decent and challenging without too much shenanigans included. I guess the gods of Mario Maker decided to reward you for all your good deeds on this game, thanks for another upload Ryu!
I think that they probably will since SMM was originally just a "dev tool" I guess you could say to make mario games for the Wii U so they probably will do the same thing for the switch. This might also be why we are yet to see any 2D mario games on the switch.
4:09 "It's not a speed course, there's no timer." This isn't necessarily true. I've seen close to a hundred 500 second speedrun levels. I know of 15 people who _only_ make 500 second speedruns. A timer of 500 seconds doesn't always mean you have nothing to worry about.

I can't understand Nintendo. If I were a game developer at theirs, I couldn't wait to try to add as many features to the editor as I can to make the game richer in variety and more fun.
problem is that if you add too many things you risk adding game breaking things or things that make the game less fun. you need to make sure that everything you add works and works well

There is a rumour of Mario Maker 2 being announced this E3. I mean, I'll watch E3 either way for cool announcements. But an MM2 rumour makes me a bit more hyped for it.
The auto-scrolling level probably placed the sub-world there if the player didn't have a power-up at that point. Spin jumping pass the piranha plants might have not been enough.
Pretty sure on the cannon scroll one you couldve gone back through the pipe at the end and get the last coin you missed and open the red door, probably for more lives.
