Thank you sooooo much bro. My team and I new nothing about coding until now you have make it very simple and easy with how you explain what you are doing and why as a result what happens. In addition we have produced our very first game DEAD LANDS, and with this information you have provided will take our new venture for the gamers experience to another level. Thank you. Blessings 🙏
I'm building a survival game and plan on using quests as a large part of the gameplay. This was helpful but it leaves me with a few questions. 1. Will I need cinematic cuts in order to travel between maps. 2. Is there it possible to use NPC characters as followers or members of a survivors group that you build by either rescuing them or helping them
@@welcometoluxaria5363 yeh that’s what I wondered as far as capabilities of the sandbox system this seems to be… it seems limited without further knowledge or integrations.. as far as what you can do… team deathmatch seems most suitable for this type of system
@@hownotto4067 true. It's sad though I spent months designing the prison and building the town then another few weeks placing all the NPCS and staging everything just to abandon the whole thing
These tutorials are amazing. Thank you so much for taking the time out to show those who don't know these things. With that said, I am working on my first game but I'm running into a couple of problems. Can you please either help me or point me in the right direction. Problem 1. I need to turn the animated mesh characters I'm using to be NPC''S. How can I achieve this? Problem 2. I need to implement several quests for the first and second stages . Will I be able to set up the quests and if so how? Problem 3. At it's core (pun intended) this is a survival game but it involves a lot of rpg elements. Such as a storyline and multiple characters throughout the game. Will this be an issue? I've been working on this project for Two months now and I'm nearly complete done with the visuals aside from the cinematic cut scenes and a few other details any help is greatly appreciated
How would i change the script to account for a non player character damaging said crate. Say my crate gets destroyed by an npc rather than a player how would i add that destroyed crate as a resource anyway? Context: im making a td game and i want my players to defend 2 cores rather than destroy them but if they get destroyed i would like the healthbar of the objective to decline.
