5:27 - If you have an analog phone service (not VoIP) and a touch-tone phone without a pulse-tone mode switch, you can simulate pulse mode by quickly pressing the hook. You can actually dial a phone number by pressing the hook fast enough (e.g., to dial 555-555-5555, you have to quickly press it five times, pause a moment, then repeat 9 more time).
@@BlueprintScience I'm actually a Telcom service monkey, once upon a time I was relocating a socket for a customer... Had no multimeter but two lines with 4 twisted pairs each. Luckily it was on a old line still otherwise there wouldnt have been enough voltage to make my tongue tingle. (electrocuting yourself I easier than admitting to some stranger that you're a dork who doesn't know how to do his work) Maybe you get a laugh out of that 😛
I am here because my ISP is giving free calls on VoIP by connecting a telephone to GPON router and not offering a telephone and luckily here all mobile signal is weak so can you give me purchase link of that kit
i miss the analog telephone days. so easy to just tap the lines and record audio, send tones down the lines to make all kinds of free calls. i wonder if AT&T can setup analog telephone again just like the old days.
Could a vehicle be constructed that weighs less than 80-100kg yet aerodynamic enough and powerful enough to achieve highway speeds? Better yet, perhaps there could be found a way to seal it from the outside for pressures less than or greater than the ambient pressure inside which could allow it to work underwater or high altitudes in flight. It’s main power could either come from the oxidation of ethanol via either a fuel cell or a turbocombustion engine which allows it to generate greater power at higher speeds in flight, or as a submarine underwater without the requirement of air, due to running on its own electrical power.
A recumbent bicycle or 3-wheel (Velomobile) with an aero shell can easily maintain 50km/h under human power and weighs about 30-35kg, i think. Unfortunately you run into a little bit of practical limitation, that even though it stands to reason that you have enough weight leeway for engine and fuel storage to maintain highway speeds at your target of 100kg, first off, you couldn't take an actual highway in it - it's so small, that people will just run you over, and it has to be this small to be this aerodynamic; and for other, you couldn't survive a traffic accident at highway speeds!
I've been wanting to make my own POTS (plain old telephone system) for a while now. But I just don't know enough technical knowledge about how the switching and power and everything works. Or whether it would even be possible to make one using just 7400/4000 series chips and some LM series. Since that's the majority of chips I have. I know I have to do multiplexing somewhere, somehow, so maybe they could help with that. Who knows. One thing's for sure, I've gotta go deeper into this rabbit hole.
Israel Gómez, it was gifted to me from a friend. I have no idea where he got it. Perhaps an online vendor might carry it - I wrote the model number in the video description
I don't think it's been made for at least 10-15 years. All the sites that list it look like they were last updated before the MySpace era. Your odds of finding a largely unmolested AK-700 or AK-750 kit on eBay are pretty good though, i'd say.
It’s a DJI phantom advanced drone I bought off of a friend. I plan to use it for future videos! P.S. I see that you are a bit of a drone aficionado. Neat!
The youtube gods tried to hide you from me. They should know by now that you're my favorite channel, yet I had to check manually to see that you made a new video a week ago. They are trying to suppress your genius from the world.
Too bad you didn't mention the name of the inventor of the phone ... I know that Graham Bell comes to mind first but the courts have confirmed that it was Antonio Meucci, unfortunately after his death
@@BlueprintScience I think there is no censorship on this Russian web site vk.com/ You may upload the blocked videos there and share the link on your channel, so the people who want to see it may find it
@@BlueprintScience being famous is for Instagram/TickTock teens.. Being small makes a shitstorm much more unlikely (also nobody tries to sneak into your house at night to take pictures)
