I do wish Astalos was a Neopteron - there’s such a precious few, and it would do a lot for the classification, which has like three or four monsters in it tops

Quick note about Astalos biology, I heard in unnatural history channel that the flying wyvern shape is just one of the most practical to evolve into in the world of monster hunter which explains why there’s so many so it’s likely it was a bug that just evolved into a flying wyvern shape :/

There’s also lore that fish evolved into wyverns but I think he hated that idea since that’s not how evolution works.

I never even noticed that stripe camo pattern, so I'd call that some great attention to detail! Despite not having a connected membrane I love how you managed the wing design.

Super excited for the kushala daora build next --it looks incredible! Tbh I also didn't enjoy the astalos fight in gen too much. It was fine I guess but probably my least favorite (especially boltreaver) among the 4. Though gammoth wasnt that fun either lol

Glavenus was like the first build I did, back in 2020. I had planned for a while now to completely remodel him before I get to his video/instructions.
