Hey nice one ! I like the workflow ... after the digitakt i've been looking to get the OP-1 out of the case again . Good to watch a bit of the structure laid out as well .Thanks for all your hard work.Must admit i miss the jovial voice though :-]
thanks mate! youre welcome. nice to hear that i encouraged you to let the OP-1 see the light of day again :-) my voice will come back one day, i promise ;-) cheers!
Very nice!! At the beginning when you recorded the kick to tape, is there a reason for doing it this way vs lifting the sample from the drum sampler and dropping it into the melodic sampler?
Hi. Nope, the reason is: I did not know that i can directly lift from the Drum Sampler and that only the Slice i lifted gets dropped into the Sampler. Have to try this out. Thx :-)
Tim Stepp you can press “shift” plus “record” button and it arms the track without starting. Hit play and give yourself 4 beats before starting your track. This is my workflow.
i dont know what you exactly want to do but you can hol rec then press synth and then a note/chord. this way you can change knobs instantly after the recording start.
Hi Kalle: Thats fairly simple (and a reason why i havent put it into the Video): Just put Nitro on the Drumkit and turn up the Blue Knob :-) You can adjust further with the Envelope Amount in the lower left Corner, add some Resonance ... this gives it a little bit of Movement. Very easy actually. Cheers
Its still totally worth it. Although i really miss true Stereo Operation at times. But its a lot of fun creating and layering sounds with the Tape; just never gets old :-) Or using the more unconventional Sequencers with weird Effects and just let go ... at the moment its too expensive though! Its worth a lot, but definitely not 1400 € ^^ Thats definitely too much!
