HA! I just got done trying out a project that's essentially the flip side of this! I have an old Tama 306 analog drum module that takes trigger inputs. I took 6 metronomes, attached contact piezeo mics to each and ran them as the trigger in. Then set them going at various tempos... As you can imagine it can just sound like crazy noise, but with mixing, FX, you get some AMAZING emergent rhythmic variations. One thing that I discovered that was really interesting is that even if all 6 are going at unique tempos, if you run them all to a delay on a send, the common tempo of the delay creates a more stable foundation for the individual madness... Anyhooo, I saw "metronome techno" pop up on alerts, and was like "Holy cow!!! Another musical visionary using pure analog goodness of metronomes!" :)

i have a question wondering does the device have capability to sample in its own or do u have to get a actual sampler to plug into the Digitakt does my question make any since at all
