This part of the drive comprises Kankakee, Will and Cook Counties of Illinois. However, Kankakee County, IL isn't part of Chicagoland, but part of a combined statistical area for Chicagoland and the county itself makes a metro area of Kankakee, IL, with that city as it's county seat and core city.
I needed a job and always wondered what it was like to live on the open road so I went and got my CDL and found a company I liked and drove of them for about a year. This is where I got to see a lot of the cool roads featured on the channel. I then found a local job I really liked and have been there now over 8 years! The only way I'll stop driving a truck is if this channel becomes a thing and I do this for a full time job. Right now it's just a hobby after I work 45-50 hours a week!
