My wife and I visited Aomori in 2007, but the only thing we visited there was the "Big A" because we took the train to take the tour of the Seikan Tunnel -- no longer available because of the Shinkansen being extended to Hakodate. We'd love to visit again if we get a chance.

I miss Aomori a lot, I went there in August 2018 and I joined the Nebuta matsuri and danced in front of the parade!!! it was awesome!!!!
