You'll love the rest of the season and the next ones. Great story. And a lot of the science is practical and possible. And the artwork... yeah the artist behind it used to do that other kind of manga. Thats why the are details even the muscles etc.

The amazing thing about Dr Stone is that it champions the scientific method as well as the human spirit. It's typical for a shounen to raise willpower above everything or for a seinen to champion science but be nihilistic. This series champions both, it is fiercely intelligent as well as accurate with all the science but also fiercely optimistic with characters that have that trademark shounen will. It has repeatedly inspired me and moved me to tears. It is easily within my top three favorite series ever.

So Dr Stone is done by a writer/artist team. The artist, Boichi, is actually originally from S Korea. He left because of censorship issues with his art. That is…you might notice that he really likes drawing beautiful bodies. Beautiful, curvy bodies. And clingy clothes. That is, while Dr Stone is super wholesome, you can totally tell the character designs have done adult manga influence, lol.

So just so ur clear they can't hear or see while they are statues. Literally at best it's like being conscious in the dark without being able to move. Taiju mentions episode one that senku was counting all this time in that darkness. So he experienced it too but thought of yuzuriha the whole time

many antagonists tried to change senku's interest of reviving all of humanity (that's alive) for different reasons, but there's only one reason why senku keeps trying to do it: he likes technology and mecha stuff and he knows he can't build modernity alone.

It's just as good! They even add some things that actually adds to the story and doesn't feel out of place (i.e. freeze dried food). The anime is an amazing adaptation in my eyes.

I'm so happy you guys are watching this! I'm not sure if the experience is better or worse for me personally, as I have a strong education in a scientific background..... so..... I pretty much have an idea of what's going to happen next, and I understand the technical jargon. It's testament to how well its' written because I still find it entertaining and hilarious. Also, nice to see that Jojo really has gotten right into your veins. We all thought the same thing =)

about 30 years ago, back when i was on a safari, a very angry lion attacked our bus, and i got half my face and a good part of my upper body clawed up after i punched the lion in the head to get it away from one of the kids in the group, it had been tranquilised by the guide but the dart hadnt taken effect quick enough, i was quick a strong guy then, but even i know a strongman couldnt punch a lion like that without breaking there wrist at the least. i may have lost my right eye and ear and have a face that looks like a sleep on a cheese grater, but the kid was unharmed, and thats all that matters at the end of the day

[1] 5:05 the "HELP" I CANT. the delivery was too good and...a step or three under unsettling 5:31 that's why I wish they kinda included....well Senku's counting covered it. There's a panel where it happens to Trump also, and he p quickly slips into (and introduces the aspect) the..stone coma how're they not hungry-- hehe 7:00 I just came from 2x3 where yall complained (jokingly) about seeing too many cheeks in 2 episodes/1 day, so I'm ready for that frame of Senku rejecting that hug 7:28 if whoever's on the left in the river was actually awake, when they hit water, imagine the natural panic-- oh god or if there was a fire when the stone spores happened the natural...WAIT, THE SHOT OF THE COPILOT AND PILOT, AND ATC, AND THE PASSENGERS-- there's like a 50-50 that they didn't slip quickly enough and...damn. At least they made the sub readable I hate watching Sub Reaction that they will make the subtleties unreadable and so small that you can even watch their reaction, and all your attention is on trying to read the subs on the tiny reaction screen But this one is readable
