Whenever I see master Masayoshis name I know it's going to be nothing short of amazing! Also, 99% of music I find that is from Japan, I instantly know it is flawlessly produced. So glad I finally found out this amazing fact about the Land of the rising sun. Happy monday Tomo!

mr. takanaka was greatly influenced at that time by his master percussionist damião. he immersed himself in Brazilian culture (the real one) and produced this work of art. you can feel that influence in his music

To learn a new song, I start with just bass notes. Then I will figure out if the chords are major, minor, diminished, sustained, etc. Then, lastly, I'll find the melody and lead parts. Some songs are very easy for me. Most songs I can learn within 10 minutes. But some, like Sultans of Swing, can take considerably longer. I spent several weeks learning Sultans of Swing. 😊

I've been listening to' Insatiable High' over and over again for like a month straight, which I've declared my official 2023 summer album. Pure gold! Genius! So much fun and good vibes, Feel good music with a depth. Extraordinary musicianship and guitar playing. If you're into retro latin party randb jazz with some blues subtleties, that's what I'm picking up from Takanaka. He is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Amazing man in general! Today I start Brasilian Skies.

Loved it. I was wondering, what is your setup to sound this good (besides your incredible level !) ? What plugin are you using ?
