Then you could do a video and include some snippets of the emails you received. And then the discussion could be continued in the comment section. (Practice my instrument 5-6x/week) -Run even more this year. At least 3 more 10ks and follow a training plan for a half marathon. -Start rock climbing. -Make reading a very consistent, non-negotiable part of my routine. -Be more mindful of what I am purchasing Write it down physically and reflect. -Get screen time down to an average of 1.5-3 hours. Pleaseeeeee.

The top book on my list is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. I just started it and am already in love. Given that you love non-fiction and nature writing, I think it would be right up your alley if you haven't read it already. I would LOVE to see your archived videos. I just bought a moleskin notebook so that I can be more mindful and reflect on my reading. I also want to learn and improve my makeup and hair. I've never felt particularly good at those things, or "in the know" with best products to use :)

oh my goodness what fun - I also set my book goal to around 50, its practical yet ambitious, something busy avid readers can manage. The Patreon idea is great!!! I remember those (archived) videos so well, especially the ones where you compared books to albums and music genres... those videos were so much fun to watch and were one of the reasons why I was so drawn to your channel. They were unique and different! And the road trip videos!! We miss them! All of your videos are fantastic but I remember you saying you wanted to visit Big Bend and am genuinely curious to witness your adventure! Last thing - I actually have very similar hair to yours, curly and stubborn to grow. I've found that rosemary water helps and rosemary oil as well. The Innate Life makes one that is really great and I wear it in 2-3x a week while I work out. I've noticed my hair get stronger, healthier, and (a bit) longer :) cheers to a happy and healthy 2024 :)

A couple benefits of 'live' bookclub are 1. direct, real-time connexion with your audience 2. no editing. If you go live for your bookclub, don't forget to appoint a couple of chat administrators to block creeps & bots & to help answer questions, etc. Also maybe consider a co-host who can read messages when you're talking & vice versa. Consider watching a few varied You Tubers live to get a sense of what it's like as a member of the audience and to help determine how you would like to present your 'lives'. ps. I'm not a RU-vidr, one reason I feel entitled to give all this free advice🙃😊

Right now I’m reading East of Eden and The Count of Monte Cristo and I’m quickly falling in love with both. Ps for hair growth, I never have better results than when I’m regularly drinking raw milk (or vat-pasteurized grassfed whole milk) and putting collagen in my coffee. I’m not sure if NY is like Colorado where you can get raw dairy via a herd-share, or if it’s available in grocery stores? And not sure if your dietary preferences, but that is my recommendation 😊 happy new year!!

You should try castor oil for your hair. Not only they will grow faster but also thicker.

hair advice- jergens lotion for dry skin. just rub it into your scalp everytime you wash your hair. trust me, it has made such a dramatic difference for me. (just use it sparingly, just on the scalp. when i use a too much it makes my hair kinda oily)

Hair growth: copper(inexpensive mineral supplement - get a reliable brand); sunflower sprouts & mixed bean sprouts; B complex (I favour Garden of Life, My Kind (raw, organic, vegan, & yes, expensive😢) Also - for what it's worth, I stopped using any and all hair products 5 years ago (including shampoo, conditionner, serum, etc). I was so done with getting my hair highlighted and buying all the right shampoos etc It was expensive, stressful, time consuming, and only hit & miss results. Now I have thicker, longer, healthier hair than I ever had, and I'm in my early 50's. OK, so my hair is turning silver. Who gives a flying toss? I'm not interested in impressing the vacuous male gaze. (I learned way too late in life that's an empty ambition) I'm concerned about my health. So consider trying life for a trial period of 6 months without shampoo/conditionner, mousse, hairspray, or whatever products you use now. I have a lot of new hair growth & of course I rinse my hair thoroughly with water in the shower every couple of days.

When I was in college I read Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs in conjunction with Frederick Douglass’ autobiography, and it provided a valuable perspective of the horrors of gender violence girls faced at the hands of their enslavers which Douglass couldn’t speak to. Hope you get around to Douglass’ memoir this year!

Our family goal is to hire a lawyer. Petetion a judge to get gaurdianship of our soon to be 18 year old medically fragile child. If we are denied no medical insurance under my husbands work, and no Ssi to help in her life. She currently receive zero benefits in our state. We are praying for this to work out for us to care for our child into the adult years

Thanks for the very inspiring video. I've only been watching your videos for a short time and I can't stop watching them and buying books. And now my goals. I also want to read 52 books this year. I want to read classics. I haven't dealt with it at all yet and I'm very sentimental so I can't stand violence. This is going to be exciting. I also want to read books that are good for my general education. ;) Other goals: I have decided to deal with my own death. I am very interested in life. However, there are things that descendants are relieved to have done or written down. I want to do that. I would like to be silent for a few days, I would like to have a singing lesson, spend an hour yodeling, watch what a DJ is doing, take an orthopedic foot course (something beneficial for feet online), try out pole dancing, go to an opera, to one Sauna and a hammam, more game nights with friends, I want to continue to face challenges or my fears, I started doing that last year. I want to continue doing that. :) Congratulations. That was very honest.

Biotin for hair but it can cause a distortion in lab results such as hormones, thyroid labs and lab tests for heart attack namely troponin. If you aren't going to be tested for thyroid soon you can go on it but be sure to let your health care provider know you are taking biotin and that it can interfere with getting accurate lab results for certain conditions.
