My game is bugged, it rewarded me for collecting every single seed in every world. But it didn’t spawn the final challenge 😢. I looked it up and others have the same problem.
@@MayroSMM thanks I watched this video after I finished the wonder gauntlet. I thought I did everything, and then suddenly you were at a level I haven’t been to. With No telling how you got there. When I looked it up, it only said I had to collect every seed.
yeah, i was watching boss fight stuff and i was wondering why bowser wasn’t attacking. The final boss fight was insanely easy and i literally had more trouble with the nsmbu final boss lmao pun not intended. I would’ve made it intended in spite of you, but i decided against it.
I just love it so much how in the beginning of the video Mayro was like "im not turning the flowers off" and after one of these flowers says "I WONDER what there is to do" she just pauses the game in disappointment and when she continues another flower says "yes I too WONDER that" and she just mutes them lmao (also the "kamek" joke, the silence to another search party stage and the cut off screams. this is peak comedy ngl)
I wonder (it's the only word I could think of for the sentence and *not* the "Wonder pun") if when she turned it off, she heard the "Oh, was it something I said?" dialogue. But she didn't actually turn it off though.
On one hand, it does ramp up in base difficulty pretty fast, but on the other hand you could always play as yoshi/nabbit. (though you lose powerups outright). But honestly though, it's still great, but I'd still recommend Kirby as a "complete newbie to the genre" game to play.
I only found that one Yellow Toad coin in the first Search Party level due to the tooltip saying you could push certain pipes. So a loading screen tooltip actually helped for once. Apart from that level though I'm loving the game so far! I'm only up to World 4 rn however so I won't watch past that in the video until I do it.
I absolutely agree with you, the Search Party levels are the worst in the game. “Hey did you try pushing this pipe that looks like it’s the boundary of the level? NO???? WELL YOU BETTER BELIEVE THATS WHERE THE TOKEN IS BUDDY” 18:45 Also one of the questions it can ask is “How many goombas have you defeated so far” (as in, the entire game) and it’s MPIQ asking for the record of a minigame tier garbage.
I feel like people are really split on the bosses, I personally love them. They're not that hard but they're all fun. Edit: also the seeking stages are the worst.
epic, can't watch the whole thing since i haven't finished the game yet but this game has some sick tech i'm sure you'll get tons of use out of in challenge runs, one sided wall jumps do work with the correct badge and you can also gain infinite height with the bubble powerup if you know what you're doing Also the search party levels are still hot garbage even in multiplayer, i played the second one in 3 player mode and we still got stuck for 15 minutes jumping at every possible open space to find hidden blocks
Appreciate that this may have been a fun way to play for mayro but the rules about doing the wonder flower afterwards and not using badges just made the whole playthrough a lot less entertaining
I also find wonder 'puns' about wondering stupid and unoriginal and frustrating, but if I can sneak in a good one during the next few weeks that will be a success, I suppose. Anyways, anyone who makes a bad wonder pun will be put wonder arrest.
I'm so very sorry Mayro, you got me thinking. I deserve to be whisked away. On a more serious note, it was awesome watching and your awestruck face for the first musical was priceless and the other thing I was thinking of was stored in the brain cells lost typing that horrible wonder pun.
I have specifically been avoiding using the word wonderful when describing this game. I am above poor puns even if it makes me have to consciously avoid using a basic word.

The hidden blocks levels made me dislike the game. Even there had been times in regular levels I died because of them. As for difficulty, yeah, most levels would be on normal in mario maker even for 4 star. They might have been expert if getting everything was required. Also, why can we keep 10 coins after dying? The last level was so hard for me. I lost over 50 lives probably. I played almost all levels using the parachute badge, the first one. It let me one sided wall jumps saving me some lives.
The search party levels are only tolerable if you play online and copy other people but otherwise, yeah idk what they were thinking they just suck. Some of the break time levels are alright but a lot of them are too shallow. Other than those levels, I really enjoyed this game!
I'm mostly going in blind unless I need a guide. If I'm stuck in a Search Party I switch up my character and make a note of where the tokens are. I can't play online but that's okay. Grapple-Vine Badge and Drill Mushroom are an amazing combo
I get what you mean by the comments and stuff, but I would be worried actually worried. There's been this rising star on RU-vid who's been known to use genAI to create large blocks of text in many forms, and she could kinda destroy you if she creates comments in bulk for content. Creator in question is called Book of Mayro btw. Based on the name she might be targeting you...
@@MayroSMM I find it hard because of the tight timing and small platforms but when I did beat it I beat it using the safety bounce badge but never used it Also I love it when RU-vid creators reply to my comments it just feels nice
Ok, watched the full video now that I got 100%. I'll leave extra comments under a spoiler tab. I love the special world levels so much, apart from the world 5 one which I didn't really like too much they were all do fun. The badge marathon I found really difficult especially but getting through it was satisfying, and same goes for the wonder level. When my only complaint about that level is that it's too short you know I enjoyed it. I'm hoping for some dlc that adds more hard levels even if I think that's unlikely. This game was fantastic, easily my favourite 2D mario. (mostly since I'm not huge on any of the other ones)
