Undertale is dead now, long live Fortnite Fridays Thanks to everyone who joined me for this marathon length stream. We've worked hard to condense all the best bits of the game into one video. This was an unbelievably difficult one to get right and I hope everyone enjoys mine and Cloe's efforts

the fact that everyone, even people who've never seen anyone else play undertale, gives Papyrus that one specific voice is proof that his design captures him so perfectly that people only need to look at him to pick out the exact vibes

dan beating sans 7 times beforehand to make sure that he could oneshot him on stream is such a fucking power move

The start of this stream was insane. Like RT joked “could you imagine if that was it” then the fucking sans music kicks in and he fights him all in one go. I can not explain that feeling. Second best bit of this stream was seeing people come in half way through thinking it was a regular pacifist route, talking about the game like it was regular pacifist and chat just smiling.

I'm so proud of Dan for finding his voice and basically bullying chat back. It's been amazing to watch and he's a better entertainer for it.

Fun fact if you talk to Blooky after you beat the game on pacifist route you find out Asriel missed one soul cause he refused to open his door.

Maybe the best part of the stream is that people hopped in late and SO many people were legit shocked by the soulless ending. Just *chef’s kiss*

I’ve figured out why Sans always walks the wrong way to go somewhere. He’s venting off-screen

the subtle threatening energy when he occasionally references the genocide run is hilarious LMAO. mid heart warming moment is just a chill of despair

RT gave us more than we deserved for this stream. Chat was so awful and backseaty, I’m surprised he kept his cool

My favorite thing about the final fight in the pacifist run is you can do an act that fills your inventory with “Last Dream” a healing items that revives you, you can sell them at the Temi shop (the only shop you can sell to) for 250G. Selling your dreams for money.

Gotta love how this is both an excellent April Fools joke, and an actual Undertale playthrough

Honestly, April Fools joke or not, it's really nice to see you play the game the way you want to play it. And also it was really fucking funny to just open with the Sans fight honestly comedy GOLD

I tuned in when this was live just before the mad dummy fight, and I cannot emphasise enough the WHIPLASH i experienced when I saw the phrase "SUSSY, huh?" on the screen

I was really wondering why the final battle seemed to bother his eyes so much... Then I remembered, he'd been playing for 10 hours straight at that point, and it made a lot more sense. Glad you were able to play this in a way you enjoyed!

I like how his papyrus voice is a slightly toned down Von Karma voice.

By the time he was midway through during the stream, half the people there hadn't been there since the start. I've never seen so many people use the ":)" emote on twitch. I'm proud of chat for never letting the infos leak and leaving it all for the big reveal at the very end

RT really would spend the most emotional part of the game talking about among us for 10 minutes. Really brings new meaning to his intro: "We're doing this MY WAY."

Dan does so much crazy shit that sometimes we forget he's actually legitimately REALLY good at video games. Just look at his Celeste run, it took him a fraction of the time it would've taken me to beat, and it was his first run ever (I know the video is edited, I mean how long it took him on stream)

Something I deeply appreciate about all of Dan's content is how fucking hard he'll go for the meme. Playing dozens of hours of a game you don't really like just to oneshot Sans on stream and finally kill Undertale once and for all? King shit. Some might even say.... Drift King shit

These highlights miss the moment where RT told us to not tell everyone that we killed Sans in the previous run

I love how Dan asks what kinda voice he should do for Papyrus and then defaults to the Skeletor one without being told to. Everyone does it. It's a fucking phenomenon lol

The name "Sussy" actually means something here, because in the end, Sussy reveals themselves to be the sus impostor and kills everyone.

I love how dan is low-key amazing at video games, probably the reason why he always puts himself through the most difficult tasks.

I hope that Toby Fox himself looks at this playthrough and experiences the emotional rabbit-hole of what it feels like to go through the most insane intro of all time The best part of this playthrough is moments like 2:11:52 being enhanced by RT's name, honestly In all seriousness, it's still nice seeing RT playing Undertale, despite the comedic enhancements I'm hyped to see the crazy Spamton-themed intro for RT's DeltaRune playthrough in the future

As someone who loved Undertale very dearly when it was still new, the fact one of first things that happened on stream was Sans getting absolutely obliterated brings me the greatest joy

I remember the last time I watched a streamer play through undertale. He seemed to have a good time, at least, but he was also terrified of messing up and upsetting the chat. He did his best to listen to all of their advice because he was so worried he'd miss out on true pacifist. It was just awful to see. Most of the time it was good fun, but every once and a while a moment like that would happen and I'd just feel so awful for him. There's a lot of secrets and easter eggs in this game, and the fan base doesn't want their favorite streamers to miss out on even a second of it. It's understandable that they want their streamers to love the game as much as they do and see every little thing it has to offer, but it just leads to some really awful, horrible behavior on their parts. That, moreso than any "mistake" the streamers make, is what ruins the experience more than anything else. So I think what RT did here was just really good. We didn't deserve to see him play this game at all, after how much we bugged him about it. But he did anyway, and I'm really happy he did, and more importantly, that he had a good time. Not only did he stand his ground and not just bend to whatever chat told him to do, but he seemed to have a lot of fun doing it, and that's what matters most. No game is perfect, including Undertale and its fan base. Especially its fanbase. But I hope that RT had a lot of fun with it anyway. I hope that despite everything, he enjoyed doing this.

I remember getting the notification for this stream. "Undertale," it said. "BAd TiMe," it emphasised. "Holy shit," I thought to myself. Daniel RTGame was playing Undertale. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that it was the Day of April Fools, and I was greeted with the funny skeleton man, default dancing in hyper-realistic 3D over a greenscreen png. I had been japed. Bamboozled. And yet... I stuck around. Subsequently, this man proceeded to beat the hardest boss of the game first try on stream and proceeded to finish the No Mercy route. And thus began the tale of Sussy 'Fortni' Dreemurr.

Little did we know that the community post wasn’t a joke, but a warning

this is unironically the best undertale playthrough I've ever seen, and it's in part because it's also the most ironic undertale playthrough I've ever seen. - Dan's snarky humor works well to put a twist on lines\jokes that I've started to dislike simply because I've heard them over a thousand times. - The fact that he started off by basically showing the entire undertale backseating army exactly how little of a fuck he gives about them (honestly, as everyone should imo) both worked to free him of the community's shackles and set the light hearted tone that is rarely seen in undertale videos especially nowadays and was very refreshing. - Him giving so little of a damn about playing the game "properly" (always hated that way of describing it but you know what I mean) makes for unique and often hilarious reactions that are only possible when you don't take the game too seriously and are just ever so slightly spoiled by memes. It is both a masterfully crafted shitpost and a beautiful sendoff to the game that the community really didn't deserve but is very much appreciated anyways. let's all let poor toby to work on whatever other projects he has in mind (be it deltarune or anything else), and leave undertale to die not as the shitstorm the community made it, but as the fun experience it was. I've honestly always believed that you hated this game with a passion considering how much you've been haunted by it, but I'm pleasantly surprised

This is a masterclass in holding an entire community emotionally hostage and I love it.

Sans was legitimately my favorite character because he was just a lazy guy who cared for his brother. Then he got meme'd and I'm judged for liking the guy. I hate the fandom with a passion but god I love this game.

I love how a normally chaotic good (in its own way) chat rt has just immediately turned to backseating and pointing out his flaws in the game. I'm glad he did it, but that was a rough time. I understand why most people don't stream this game.

This is one of the greatest power moves I have ever seen a Streamer do to his audience, this has the same energy as the great purge but for Undertale stans instead of Dream stans.

Don't get why people said he didn't enjoy playing this game, I watched the 11 hour stream and he seems to be having fun in spite of the chat 😭 sure it isn't his favorite game but feels like people who thought that he hated it still had the Undertale hate bandwagon bias

this stream was honestly an absolute highlight of my day - which is to be expected because I spent most of said day watching it - and it was an amazing journey through and through. the hype in chat when Daniel initiated the sans fight at the beginning, the calmer moments when he was just exploring the world, and everything in between, was a delight to witness right up to the end. I haven't played this game in years, and it still holds a very special place in my heart despite its flaws. I know this is kind of stupidly sentimental considering this was an April Fools stream, but genuinely, thank you so much for giving me an excuse to revisit the game I used to love so much. and thank you Cloe for all your hard work editing this absolute monster of a stream down. The implications of this is that Dan probably did the entire genocide route subconsciously, since he has no memory of doing any of the puzzles, even the ones that are required in genocide He is literally capable of doing undertale genocide without knowing it.

I don’t know what I should be more worried about, Sussy telling everyone about the hit game Among Us or the Fortnite Dancing Sans in the top left corner as he wipes out Tomato Town. Regardless, I’m glad RT finally got to play Fortnite.

This played on autoplay while I wasnt paying attention, after Firewatch, and I found myself thinking wow, what a a weird flex, doing the Sans boss fight in one attempt after finishing Firewatch.

This line Dan delivered in response to Sans' "...You'd be dead where you stand" line at 1:24:28 hits different when you realise what he did with Sans earlier in the stream.

I remember from the Celeste part 2 stream: You said that these kinds of people who say that you play the game wrongly made you hate Undertale. You completed a genocide run so that you get a different ending just to spite and "destroy" these kinds of people. Thats the reason I really enjoy you. You shape the things your way. You want to enjoy the things your way and you are a legend for doing it your way. Thanks for every single second you entertain me!

Undertale is very near and dear to my heart, but I do have to agree with a lot of RT’s criticisms. Still it was very fun to watch live, all 11 hours of it.

I gotta say, killing sans fortnite undertake in the first 10 minutes of the stream and then forcing his corpse to default dance in the corner for the rest of it while he does the soulless run is such a power move from Dan. What an absolute Gigachad Long Live Fortnite Fridays

There is actually another dialogue if you spare Toriel and then kill her. Also there is some lines if you complete the game in genocide several times in a row. Chara eventually tells you please go pacifist. Same with Flowey in neutral endings.
