It's a whole new Two-Player Starter set for Infinity N3.
This is the most requested Let's Play! that I've received, so here it finally is, coinciding with a brand new release at Gencon: Operation Red Veil.
Owen captains the Haqqislam incursion force while I take command of the Yu Jing security forces defending the Neon Lotus Orbital station.

I’m on the cusp of getting back into table top gaming but have been going round in circles as to which game to start collecting and playing. Your video just sealed the win for Infinity! I think the best part of Lo Pan's Noodle Hut is not just that it references Big Trouble in Little China, but also James Hong's role in Kung Fu Panda. Awesome piece of terrain!

would be awesome if you could make beginner to intermidiate videos covering the rules and deeper rules like suppresive fire and hacking and intuitive attack etc and explaining all stuff with miniatures like in a short scenario

Love these vids!! I wish you would talk more slowly, though. I hear a lot of mumbling. I'm a total newb and learning the game, so it's hard to make out what you're saying a good bit of the time. Slowing down a bit would help tremendously! Thanks for some great vids!

Pretty sure he doesn't get cover for that peak. The attack would happen at the time of the peak where he's out of cover.

Question about the 'pop in, pop out' maneuver at 30:54. Why would the opposing player take the ARO shot if they're at a dice disadvantage and the other model isn't shooting at them in the first place? Or is it just an understanding between these two guys that when you do that maneuver, the attacker is taking a shot as their second short skill?

Paul Baluk in that situation your options are shoot or dodge. Either way you're at dice disadvantage. So you might as well attempt to kill them

Great Video. I have to point out that you counted cover wrong at 18:20. Because you were in base contact with the terrain that would be considered cover in between you and him. It would count as cover.

Cover must obscure at least 1/3 of a models silhouette for them to gain Partial cover. In this case, the Zhanshi was more than 2/3s exposed, so received no Partial Cover benefit.

It's probably just the camera angle but from what I saw it looked like the base was at least 1/3 behind cover which is what you use to consider cover in that scenario. Good game, thanks for the play through

Bottle Cap Stickers, 1 inch diameter clear epoxy disks with an adhesive on one side. They are pretty great for adding more durability to Board-/Wargame Tokens.

Thanks guys - I always wondered how I could convert those chits to the ones I always see in Battle Reps. I know Micro Arts Studio do the tokens + epoxy to buy as complete products, but I find them on the expensive side. Whereas, if I would print off my own tokens and then use the epoxy domes I'd be able to do it cheaper I hope.

How does the pop out of cover and pop back in yield a shot from the Active player? I thought one must move, then shoot in a move + shoot order which gives no time to hide back tau jumpjet style?

MagicalMode All actions in an order are considered simultaneous, so even when you declare the BS Attack second (which you always do) you may perform it at any stage along a Move short skill, during which the active model has a 360* field of fire. The reactive models may always perform their ARO at any stage in the active models order as well, so they can always return fire at the point when they can see him.

This is an old video, but I'm fairly certain the way you resolved the "hop out, hop back, and still declare a BS attack" and the ARO is incorrect.

Great vid - thanks again :) Question to everyone - if you shoot and have 3 hits, let's say 8,9 and 10 and the oponent roles an 11 (success). Does this cancel 1 hit or all because of it's height? Thanks dudes :) - and yes, I pre-ordered :)

I'm interested in getting this game. I like the models and it seams fun. But 3 tutorial missions and just 2 actual missions... Is this like Age of Sigmar where they sell books with the scenarios? Tokens and building looks like thin paper... I guess that's ok when the models alone are worth more than the whole set.

The rules in the starter are superficial and made simple to made learning easier. The actual rules are online or bought separately. So the booklet is useful only for the first few learning games anyway.

Don't understand the constant shooting back and forth without using an action.. doesnt help with how fast you guys roll and then immediately pick up the dice.

Was this so one-sided because he won the initiative role? That seems to really unbalance the game, with him rolling 3 dice to your 1 most of the time. That doesn't seem like it would be very fun for the Yu Jing player, or whoever lost the initiative roll.

Whoever wins initiative gets to EITHER pick who goes first OR pick which side they’re deploying. The Haqq player won mostly because this is a fairly small map and they managed to close the distance fairly quick to use their shotguns at the ideal range. The Yu Jing player also forgot to ARO at least once, so of course he loses if he doesn’t take his opportunities to attack.
