Let's Play Infinity: Defiance (Defiance Week OnTableTop) 

As Warren I am so excited for this jump in point to the Infinity world. I have been eyeing the amazing sculpts for a long time and been eager to paint them. Unfortunately never found an excuse to pull the trigger as I hardly ever play miniature war-games with my friends as we only play board games. This is such a happy moment for me that I have the excuse now to purchase and paint these gorgeous models and know I will get it to the table as well. Insta back and can't wait for this to be delivered!

I'm really looking forward to this, the narrative gives me really cool Mass Effect 2 vibes and I like the unique cast of characters we have to pick from to paint and play. I'm definitely going to follow this, thanks for the vid!

I’m unbelievably stoked to play infinity in co-op! It’s such a great way to play in the universe in a much lighter group format!

I backed the Deluxe pledge the other day. Can't wait! Have the Nomad starter at home and no local community to speak of, but we play boardgames and about to start the RPG as well. I love this world

Ive been thinking of entering the world of Infinity for some time now but was a little daunted by the choices and rules. Defiance looks like a perfect "gateway" game for me to get into to start with. quick rules, awesome minis... Great Let's Play guys.

That was a lot of fun to watch and is getting me even more excited about this game! Corvus Belli did a great job taking all the great things of both Aristeia! and Infinity and combining them into something amazing.

The dice mechanic works really well for a dungeon crawler...and a great intro to Infinity

I've played a few of these types of games and this one looks like it has really solid mechanics. Looks like it's a lot of fun without being too complicated. I love the in-depth rules for Infinity, but this one will be easier to draw other people into... still, I think I have a lot of painting ahead of me.

I have been looking more and more into Infinity, coming from another other skirmish game. Defiance looks pretty cool as an awesome space-dun geon crawler!

I like that it uses the Aristeia engine. This is a game to play with my very competitive family. Cooperative games are a good way for us to play together in a positive way. I can’ wait to try it out.

This looks amazing!!!. Really fast paced with a lot of room to expand and upgrade. Think my kids may like this for a family game night.

The miniatures look great. The theme of the colors for factions is super. I am a fan of games with tiles for the board also. Very nice looking game.

Boardgames are the best way to get converts, for sure. Show people how fun the BG is, then hit them with the heavy stuff that is the full wargame! Can't wait to start demoing this at my local boardgame cafe - I've hit saturation at the FLGs for the strat game.

This certainly looks like a fast game. When you get more familiar with the game I think the game would go even faster. Certainly looks like a great intro to Infinity for new people too.

Cheers for the video. The game looks cool and simple but maybe too simple. The tactical choices seem shallow at least in this opening mission. No cover, no way of predicting who the bad guys will attack, no way of covering the soft targets etc. etc. I love Infinity core mechanics and was hoping this one could be used to teach my friends Infinity, but these with switches and triggers taken from Aristeia! seem cool too. Just hoping that from 2nd mission on there are slightly more "tough choices" to make and advanced tactics. The hacker seems by far the most interesting character to play, the others are just different ways of killing stuff.

I absolutely love Aristeia! and I am hoping to get into Infinity, but Defiance is like a must have!

I just opened my box of loveliness that is the Hit the Beach box, I did not think things could get any better, but I was wrong watching Infinity Defiance being played. Looks like more awesomeness is needed in the post.

I’ve always loved the mechanics of Arestia, and to see it as a dungeon crawler in the Infinity universe is super exciting!

I can only agree with alot of the previous commentators, hopefully this will get my friends into the lore and world of infinity.

Kickstarter has gone nuts! I’m all in on this!!

This is one game so there might be a system in place, but there should be some adjustments to the aggro system. Thematically, aggro is about how noticeable you are. If we had a ninja character, they would be trying to keep low aggro for stealth purposes. I feel like because so many AI cards in this game targeted low aggro players, it kind of doesn’t work, just like here where the tank wasn’t really targeted much. Maybe the ability to step in the line of fire to protect a teammate as a reaction could go a long way to make them feel like a tank even with the aggro system kept as is.

I hope there will be good options to be able to use the current Infinity miniatures in the game too, in your own custom designed adventures etc.

There are so many miniature games today, this one looks pretty interesting, since you don't need a 6x3 or 6x4 to play it on. I heard about Infinity, but actually never looked at it. As said, this one look nice and hey maybe I can even get my daughters into it.

I've always wanted to get into Infinity, but the rule set seemed overwhelming ...this seemed a great entry into the beautiful universe of Infinity, such a bonus that it is a dungeon crawler that also caters for solo players...I couldn't wait for the KS to start.

I didn't even know they made miniatures out of metal. Is there anything special that needs to be done to paint the miniatures since they are metal? Looks like a nice change of scenery from the high fantasy DC's. Following along with the Kickstarter. Good luck.
