Not to play Monday Morning Quarterback, but I was SCREAMING when you sacked the Cat Claw. You could have had a Claw Head Arrow to go with the Cat Gut Bow. It's a one shot weapon, but it works wonders on hunts.
Great to see another video, keep them coming! You guys need to use a cats eye circlet more, though its good to see you strarting to use this in this video. Its possibly the most critical bit of gear in the game, though it becomes increasingly relevant the tougher the monster, against foes like the DBK manipulating hit locations is far more important than worrying about AI manipulation. A couple of mistakes but relatively minor, Rebecca couldn't have crit she had minus 3 luck and when she cats eyed for the first time to find the trap she'd already activated and surged.
Don't forget that you can dash during Cunning as well since it has a flow symbol, important if you want to keep the Lion closer to your survivors so you can keep hitting it.
I like this series very much. You guys are really enthusiastic about the game which makes watching you great fun! Also this episode was way better played than the Dung Beetle one. Though you took the TPK there very manly! Also: Lovely miniatures! I'm looking forward to your encounters with the L2 nemesis monsters!
Survivors who are doomed cant use survival AND normal actions! This is really important cause the survivor with the vermin obsession cant do anything till any other survivor investigate the bug patch.
This was a big change in 1.5 and has made some situations rather nasty, from what Adam has said basically anything that requires activation cannot be used while doomed, so unless you have block set already or deflect tokens you can do literally nothing. Its made that disorder pretty rough!
More Kingdom Death is good Kingdom Death. On a related note, what would one have to do to get these pencils? Pretty please with a phoenix feather on top? :P
I don't understand the point of playing if you just cherry pick all the results. Like.. Isn't it embarrassing to know you're cheating against an inanimate cardboard and plastic game?
Seems odd too as they've been fairly strict to themselves throughout the game's length and not like they needed to do it to beat this hunt. They've hardly cherry picked "all" of the results, though, as this is the first time I'm aware of them potentially doing it.
I'd like to know why you fudged the Clever Ploy at the end there? I was really enjoying this series, but now I'm wondering how much of it was cheating.
Loved this series, however too much fudging in this one - I guess you were all tired and reeling from the previous fight, ignoring a death roll on the hunt, forgetting about the disembowelment, ignoring the last trap pulled..., the trap in particular I'm sure you could have beaten, unless of course you played it through and lost before deciding to rewind and pretend it was never drawn. Sad to see this series come to an end, I guess you were reaching that point in the game when it sometimes becomes obvious you are in terminal decline - very much part of KDM, but probably better to show it in it's full glory than try and fudge through a few more fights.
Meta-gaming Justin just ruined this entire series for me at 13:55. It took me out of the game and now I can never watch or play Kingdom Death again. Sad! Edit: Come on people this was a joke.
honestly if your not willing to meta game and think about strategy and tactics outside of the games roleplay elements KDM may not be for you, while it contains good RPG elements its very much a tactics and planning game and that requires out of world knowledge.
