I didn't properly process the world "belts" and I read "impractical" as "comically inconsistent", so I instead pictured a pair of trousers that are made entirely out of pockets of random sizes stitched together at the edges. This is now my head canon for all video game protagonists.

Don't worry I made up a huge list of everything he/they missed lol. It drives my OCD crazy too; just because Andy clearly loves these games, he has a load of save files on his typewriter, which means he beat the game at least once or twice. So you would think he would know what a Green Herb looks like, and that an enormous Item Case fell out of a downed Nemesis, and those are not to be missed because they have important upgrades and stuff. But maybe it's because he's streaming and he's just trying to go fast, and not be boring by picking everything up? Like it's more of a "speed run" type Let's Play, perhaps? I would love to hear his take on it honestly. Maybe one day they will do an AMA segment? lol.

that's it tho, he's done it. he knows what he needs. these aren't completionist streams. they're entertainment. they play fast to not be boring and skip a lot of stuff people who have never played don't even notice. I get it. there's an old stream of Ellen playing KoAR that I can't watch because she knows it so well but is skipping so much just to keep things moving for the audience.

@@laura121684 During the American Revolution there was the Battle of Bunker Hill. Americans were dug in waiting for the British Army to attack. American Colonel William Prescott told his troops to not fire until they saw "The whites of their eyes" so American soldiers would fire more accurately at closer range. I'm a big military history nerd too which propelled me to join the US Army (I got out a while ago). It still amazes me that nearly 250 years ago British and Americans were enemies and yet now here I am enjoying their RU-vid videos! (With a Brit referencing a American military order on how to kill British soldiers... So glad we could put all this Revolution mess behind us!)

I absolutely and totally hate this type of gameplay I'm never getting the remakes ever. EDIT: I'm not saying the game is bad, I just really abhor this type of survival game. Have fun, people who like it.

He gets a lot worse with the harder difficulties, like sprinting 10x your fastest movement every 5 seconds, and on top of that one hit punching you. It is very stressful to play :-)
