my memories of this game are fuzzy, but i remember grinding this fight. i gained a bunch of levels here. current favorite coffee is 40weight "animal behavior".
I'm surprised you're not using healing items. They'd make your life so much easier, and it's what they're there for. I also notice you missed out on recruiting a great character, but from the way it sounds, this is probably your first playthrough of the game, so no one can fault you for that. Either way, I really enjoyed the video. I came across it randomly, so I'll definitely go back and check out the previous ones. It's so interesting seeing someone else play the game
Cheers! I honestly have no idea what any items do aside from healing herb or medical herb or whatever it's called, and I'm afraid to burn something useful just to experiment. It sounds really stupid when I type it out, though haha. I played the first probably 10 minutes of the game when it first came out and that was it, so definitely as close to being a first playthrough as I can make it. Glad you found my channel and I hope you enjoy the content!
@@AlexIsgAEming I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I can already tell you're going to be fun to both watch and to listen to. As for items, do you want someone to tell you what they do (or at least the healing items) or would you prefer to figure it out yourself? I don't want to presume you just want people to back-seat game at you and toss a bunch of info your way or not.
Haha thanks for saying so. If you want to see me get angry and whiny, check out my Landstalker playthrough lol In terms of either stuff I've already missed, and basic item descriptions, I'm good with someone sharing. If it's more like, "there's an invisible wall in the next town that gives you the BFG from DOOM", I'd rather avoid it.
@@AlexIsgAEming Sure, if you don't mind and you think it'll help. Just for the basic healing items (no special items or the like) you can purchase in shops: Medical Herb, Healing Seed and Healing Drop are your HP healing items. Medical Herb heals for something like 10-15 HP, Seed heals for 20-25 HP, and Drop heals for 30-35 HP. Since you can buy them in virtually any shop, you can go wild with their usage so long as you have the money to restock. Healing items can be used on the active character or any characters standing next to them. Antidote cures poison, obviously. Fairy Powder cures poison, paralysis and sleep. Angel Wing casts Egress for no MP cost, and can be used by anyone. Those are the basic items you can purchase in shops. At least the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
Appreciate this! I'll have to prep my team a little better then. I would have never guessed on the fairy powder. The others seem obvious now that I read this
