I feel so spoiled! I just saw your last episode, what a great day! Tips and comments as follows, will contain spoilers for the episode: 1) Mentioned that on the previous episode, but I'll reiterate that selling to the Shinobi Trader only get you half of what you normally do :) 2) Ah, yes! You did the shop-and-drag-to-storage thing :D You can also drag those things into the research bench ofc! 3) I'm not sure the rain collector will do too much in the arid desert... Well, now I went and just looked it up and the wiki says it uses some hidden rain value. Well, fingers crossed it will get you water. I know in real life, similar contraptions can trap humidity even in very arid climates. 4) Neat, Park'll make a good martial artist now, yeah. You might wanna take a look at the mod Martial Arts Fast Dodger, since compared to blade blocks which takes a fraction of a second, one of the dodge animations is like 1 second long(!) so your martial artist in big fights or against quickly attacking enemies might just end up "dodge-dancing" and never be able to attack back. 5) Hong didn't grab the leather because he would have had to resort his inventory to make room, which you later did manually. Otherwise you were right on point in that he needed to have to haul to a leather storage as a job to empty the machine :) 6) Kral's Chosen are religious zealots who just want to fight basically. In character, any of the normal Shek characters should know about them but Park might not've because of him being a former slave and such :P

While I absolutely love your intros Rycon, I can never help but laugh at Sand's frying-pan hands. Especially when he steeples them while idle. XD

When RPing you have to remember your character might actually remember more than you.

Another amazing episode! The house seems to be getting quite full of both machinery and people. I know you want to go and make your own base at some point, but it could also be good to buy some more property in good old Squin in the meantime. Alternatively, something that seems like it could be quite cool to me would be rebuilding the Hub. You are now allied to the shinobi, a lot of holy nation outlaws hang around the place and it would bring you closer to your figth with the Holy Nation without being completely on your own. I love the idea of Sand and the others turning the place into a safe haven for escaped slaves and "heretics" of the Holy Nation. That said, I don´t know if it makes sense gameplay wise. The Hub sure has a lot of buildings to buy, but I don´t know if it makes for a good base or if you are at a point in the game where what you really want is creating your own place from scratch. Maybe someone more savvy with Kenshi can give some tips about it.

@Rycon Gotta start thinking Backpacks = Drop Tanks for fighter planes. Lose them for combats. Park is a stone killer hand to hand!

Pro Tip: So the shinobi ninjas will sell you things really cheap, but they buy at a reduced price. don't sell anything unless it is stolen and no one will buy it. You sold all of the equipment you gained from the previous episode for less than half of their possible price.

Lovely series I have to say. I myself are completely fascinated of the game. No idea if it was already mentioned but with the Bandages, loot them and then right-click back to the inventory of the NPC you're looting from. Should fill up their gauge and thus leave more room in your inventory. Same concept applies to other things with a gauge under them, though the difference is made between regular and stolen versions.

Thanks to you and Astartes Gaming I bought Kenshi the other day! I feel like for your purposes, the mod that gives each random bandit a name, might be something you want to pick up! I've been running it and it gives an awesome feel to the game-world! (Also, super super keen to see you pick up a Hiver! I'm doing an all-hiver playthrough at the moment and it's super cool!)

Totally awesome. A Two-fah as they say where I live. This gang are my favorite Rycon Roleplays characters of all, with the possible exception of Erik the Snake/Slayer and Ralen from the short-lived Seeking Sovengarde arc. I must say I've become a bit attached.

I think it's time for a 2nd building. Restore or buy another. Also Leather Tanning inside near the food prep area?! Tanning historically uses some very smelly chemicals. I've smelled it myself, my Mom's friend is Native American and their family are still in the Leather trade. Incredibly high quality jackets. Boots, shoes and gloves. They use deer hide from the hunting season.

You really need to train Dogmeat better. It's no good having her run off to play limbs! Remember, when training your doggo positive reinforcement is best! (Honestly I had no idea bonedogs would do that. I have three, and they never run off, they just eat the limbs. Maybe because of the animal backpack mod?) But for real, I love this series, and you've quickly become one of my fav let's play RU-vidrs!

Great video as always. Consistently entertaining and well produced content! A helpful little tip: Right-click to sell an item to a vendor(avoids having to search for free space.) Shift+right-click sells a stack or as much as the vendor can afford. Shift+right-click transfers a stack if not in a buy/sell context (passing stacks of copper and such to a pack-mule for example.)

Selling at the thieves only get you half-price, too.

You probably figured this out by now, but Hong's inventory was full which stopped her from picking up the leather.

If you set your Home to private you can set a job to kick out trespassers automatically I'm sure Park and Sand would have no problem taking out the trash so to speak... Just hold right Click on a person who does not Belong inside hold shift click and boom new job

If i remember correctly Zif is a good medic, why not have him with the group on passive with medical supplies. He'll run round bandaging knocked out characters during a fight.

I'm writing this at the start of the episode, just so you know at least 1/3 of the bounty targets from bar wanted posters don't even exist or have been removed for some reason. I wasted hours searching for one of those EDIT: rain collector wont work it never rains in border zone EDIT 2: "kiji and firebone are not fighters they are lovers" *sweet home alabama*

I hope you build somewhere mid map. Maybe get some crossbowmen too as they are really good once they get higher skills

Dogmeat takes playing limbs VERY seriously. She a good girl, though.

Martial arts is basically an insta kill to light armored enemies at high levels, not great for fighting large groups though

you need a npc training partner to max out. I got my people laying in bed being beaten by skeletons with staffs carrying 2000 pounds. Once they hit max ill cutt off the skeletons legs and use them as a punching bag. Cool thing is it lvls toughness and dodge for the sleeping people and str and weapon skill for the attackers and dex if you use katana.

Is there any way to take over the hub? So many buildings to repair there, home for everyone

What are the nice tunes that you are using for this episode?

I know there are role-playing aspects at play here, but you may want to pay a little more attention to racial bonuses and maluses (or not, it's all good). For example, Scorchlanders have a x0.8 cooking modifier, but a x1.2 smithing modifier. Not a huge deal, but if you really want to get up into creating the higher tiers of weapons and armor, a Scorchlander will get there a lot quicker. Without getting too specific: Boring/Nerdy stuff: Greenlanders Fighting: Shek Speed: Hivers Ninja: Hivers, Scorchlanders Crafting: Scorchlanders

it would be great if some of the time spent in menus and shopping could be done off screen and summarized. more story and adventure, please.

I don't know. Roleplay-wise, it seems so odd that Park as the most badass Shek would abandon a phat ass plank or fragment axe and go for... unarmed combat. Park seems more like a tankish brawler wielding a 2h-weapon and sturdy armor, not some flimsy cloth rags.
