Lol that’s certainly an option to consider. The comics actually show that there are pretty much constant rebuilding and relief efforts which makes the kind of mundane problems you see in the show seem kind of trivial and self centered in retrospect.

@@NerdTalkDan To be honest I just want one iteration of the show that doesn't look like it's trying to be edgy or is completely centered on kids. I remember one Space or Moon episode where everything is calmer. There are still fight scenes but the Rangers are more of a combat and rescue unit without the giant Zords and all the crazy powers. I get it though. You have to make money, that mean, make a lot of toys :)

Light Speed Rescue was more that but they are limited by the nature of the franchise which is sell giant robots. If you’re interested in more personal down you earth stories though, I recommend old school Kamen Rider. Just about cyborgs doing their best to keep the people around them safe and fight injustice. No robots!

Great question! That’s an interesting case. The gov teams likely have a Human Resources department and psychologists who are doing what Zordon should have been doing which is recruiting based on certain personality profiles and proficiency toward teamwork. Zordon for all his power was still running a two man operation and he isn’t omniscient. The comics show that he was just one front on this galactic war keeping the darkness at bay. He did what he could seeding ranger teams as possible until he got trapped and was forced to make Earth his primary concern. Also, government teams were fielding tech based rangers which leads me to believe that there’s staff and specialists who can repair damaged ranger tech and zords. Zordon fielded both tech and magical based rangers and he may not have been full ability to repair severe damage to ranger powers at that point. Remember how Ninjor was needed after the Dino-powers were rendered In operable.
