I think I’d have gone all in and got the 1st Class Edition if it were about $100 cheaper. $330 is a bit much. So I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition instead, and I definitely think it offers the greatest value for money of any of them.

That's a good question. I've seen games like Dark Souls 3 that offered PreOrder weapons, but you could get them in game by completing insane challenges. I'd be happy to see them as a special reward in game, but they might also just be locked to a download for preorder only players.
I have a question, are the additional stuff from deluxe edition via voucher? If so, is it advisable that we buy the basic game online, then once the physical deluxe edition comes out, just use those vouchers afterwards? Thanks a lot!
Im so confused so the game isn’t fully the game but split into parts ? So what i pre ordered was probably 1/4 of the game and I have to wait for the next part to release? Is the original game like that bc I’ve never played ff7 . Wait so is it like ff13 where there’s 3 parts to the whole story? 🤔
The original ff7 on psx was on 3 or 4 discs and it was a huuuge game!!! I was a teen when I first played ff7 in 1997, anyways ff7 remake is going to be in chapters, this this will be part one of the story and later there will be more parts released so yes, this is episodic because the game is to large to release all at once, it would take many discs and a whole lot of years to complete the whole game, that's why you are only getting part 1 right now. However this game will be a whole game with end game content.
According to Playstation Store if you order the Digital Deluxe Version it offers all 3 summons, Chocobo Chick, Cactuar and Carbuncle Summon Materia. Chocobo Chick Materia is offered as a Pre-order. Was wondering though if you just get the normal version if you can buy the summons somewhere down the line?
You can get all 3 summons if you pre-order the deluxe edition on psn digital download for 90euro, which is good but strange you don't if you buy the deluxe physical edition
Sony’s push for digital, I would imagine. They make more money off of anything sold on the PlayStation Store, so they cut deals with publishers to offer incentives for digital purchases.
you can get the 'digital' deluxe version as well which is a digitilised sound track and artbook however you get carbuncle. im deciding between this and the hard version ughhh...
The Digital Deluxe is the most effective Edition in my opinion. I personally managed to get a massive discount on a physical preorder, so I actually pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe as well. ^_^
Technically you'll get 3 discs. 2 for the game, and 1 for the soundtrack. You get 2 for the game because, just like Red Dead 2, you'll have one "Install" disc, and a "Boot" disc that you load every time you want to play.
just so you don't get shocked later, this is midgard story (episode 1) 2 discs, the discs are roughly $40 each. for the entire remake, it could be 6-8 discs, so just be prepared for the whole story $240-$320 which i think is still okay. i believe they will release the PS5 in November 2020 or March 2021 and use FFVII remake episode 2 to display the trailer which is awesome.
I've preordered the HongKong Deluxe Edition of the game because I'm a Shanghainese who lives in China, which means it's the most convenient and also the least costly way for me to get it, thanks to all these convoluted policies in China regarding video games that prevent them from being published locally. Despite the fact that at the time of my preorder, they sold it for 14.3 USD higher than retailers in the States did, and now they're pricing it even higher, I find it reasonably priced, considering how much I'd have had to pay for the shipping if I had bought it on Amazon USA. And iirc, in the UK it's even way more expensive. And, I can't agree with you more on the fact that the 1st Class Edition does not come with a bigger tin box or whatnot in which everything gets packed, but instead it's Deluxe contents with the inclusion of the figurine, which makes it all the more unworthy imo.
I learned more about the Digital Deluxe after posting this, might do another follow-up video on it because it's also a really solid option. It basically allows you to trade the Steelbook for Carbuncle and PS4 Theme, which is pretty awesome.
I tryed to get the first class edition but, the were sold out on the, Square store. But I preorder the deluxe version, but one day I’m going to get, The 1st class one.

I got the first class edition and I’m glad I preordered it because playarts Kai is no longer around anymore so that figuring will be worth a lot in the future and I’m a huge fan so I had to get that bad ass set
I pre order deluxe digital and physical , why because the digital comes with theme that the physical dont. This one of my top first games that got me into and gaming that change my life. I don't care what anybody says i spend $180 no matter how many parts they gonna be.... I am excited to see the snake but don't wont be until part 2
Carbunkle is probably gonna be a 99 cent dlc after launch and as much as i love collectible figurines i couldnt afford first class edition lmao. So i got deluxe
just to let you know i buy guys that had preorder stuff like south park the fracture butthole i got like 1 week later i was able to get stick of truth pre-order DLC as well.ha the first-class edition only twitch streamers and RU-vidrs are going to get that first-class edition free from square that is not fare they need to stop doing that to give streamers special privileges like that
