My son was that when he was 2y.oHe has speech and OT as well . After few mos. enrolled him in Pre-k . That’s when he started to talk.Mellie just need some peers around her to flourish. Keep up what you’re doing with Mellie and good luck with your business. Keep safe ♥️

Don’t be alarmed by your daughter’s late speech development, it doesn’t mean there is something wrong with her. My nephew and my son had late speech development, not until they were around both 6 years old did they start conversing well. Your daughter will turn out well because she is surrounded by love and care!

Whatever the intention is (good or bad), it is wrong and very insensitive for strangers to ask if one’s child is autistic or has delayed development. Each child has their own timeline. Millie gives us joy, just enjoy their content. It was very gracious of Dani to address those questions with a lot of details.
I salute you for being open and brave in talking about Millie and addressing the question/s on seeming developmental delays. First of all, you have a great attitude about it; you're not in denial and you're not defensive about it. That bodes very well for you and Millie moving forward. Thumbs up to you! Yes, pay close attention to developmental benchmarks that are not achieved on time and seek rehabilitative intervention right away. Note that the critical window for rehab work is until age 6; the most critical stage is 0-3. Therapy after 6 is going to be hard for the child and the parents. Speech and social interaction are key points to pay attention to for symptoms of autism, most especially the latter. I wish your family the very best as you move forward.
Having my nephew with just me and my mom for the first 3 years of his life aso because of the pandemic. He has aso speech delay but he is not autistic. We made him play and be with other kids and after maybe 3-4 months he can say words that he is not uttering before. Its normal and just a delay but he is going there. ❤️

among my 4 kids, 3 had delayed speech but they turned out okay. they did not start with babbling. they uttered a few syllables then phrases finally complete sentences at around 4 years old.
That is so normal kasi kayong lang nasa bahay.. same sa eldest ko halos late na yun magtalk kasi wala kaming ibang kasam house. Tahimik lang kasi kami.. now he is 9 super daldal hahha! ❤️ So ganyan din yan si Millie for sure.. ❤️ You ate doing a great Job momma Dani ❤️
Hi Danny! My first born was like Millie, she was diagnosed to have a speech delay. Back then I thought she has autism since she still can't talk at age 3 1/2. I also consulted a developmental psychologist and she referred me to see a speech therapist. I sent her to a school who caters to special cases like ours. Thank God! At age 6 she could actually read a whole paragraph. Have faith and support your child in everything she needs. You'll be surprised one day she'll just talk 😊 #sendingloveformillie❤

I’ve seen signs of speech delay from my 2y/onson as well and i’ve been in denial. When i saw the video of millie attended speech therapy. I became open to it and on tues. He’ll be evaluated by speech therapist per developmental peds recommendation. Thank you

I think speech delay is normal. Just like my niece 2yrs old na di pa nakakapag salita but later on okay naman. Basta kausapin lang always and no to baby talking

Ang anak ko ay speech delay same age as Millie. Sobrang ngworry ako pero Nung may nakilala ako na same case with my child na relieved ako may cases na age 3 and 5 before they talked. But syempre para mas madevelop Ang anak mo kausapin at expose pa more on social.

Ang harsh naman ng questions about Millie. Mga Marites yung nag-ask nun haha Anyway, I think na-late lang si Millie kasi wala sya masyado nakakasama because of the pandemic. Wala syang playmates na kids din. Very important kasi yun sa development ng child. And Dani, if she has a choice, dinala na nya yan si Mill sa playground para maka-play sa ibang kids but hindi pwede because of the situation. Wag na sana isali si Mill sa negative comments or questions. 🌷
