Mubi has been around in U.S. for a few years but I never tried their free trial because only 30 movies were available, one new film each day with oldest rotating out to make room for newest addition. I didn't care for that streaming format at all. Well, just visited the Mubi U.S. website for first time in months and it appears the service now offers a lot more movies, with several interesting me, so I may try them out now. Saw Border a couple years and loved it. Under the Silver Lake looks interesting, but neither it nor Border offered on the U.S. Mubi service, but are listed in the site's "all films" library, and not the "now showing" section.......so this is confusing. Just first impressions. As far as I can tell Mubi disc purchases not available in U.S. Enjoying your Mubi Special but will have to come back later to watch when more time, thanks Steve.
Great video Steve and what a cracking Mubi collection you have. Been tempted to subscribe to the channel for ages as its on Virgin Media and i think there are 30 day free trials to be had if you quote certain podcasts. Are all the movies youve just shown avalable on the channel? If so that might tip me over the edge 😊
There's certainly a lot on the channel so you wouldn't be bored take a trial and see what you think you can pause your subscription for a few months which is nice.
