LET'S TALK : SONIC MOVIE 3 (Hopes & Predictions) 

I think movie 3 could end off Eggman's arc realizing he dosen't need to do evil anymore. Remember in the last scene of SA2 where Eggman sounds like he was done doing evil for good? I feel like if Jim Carrey were to end off the trilogy that would be a good place for his character arc to end.

my biggest fear with them implementing Shadow, especially after the 2nd movie, I don't want it to have the plot of what Sonic 2 had, that being "New animal character teams up with bad guy, animal character is bad guy to sonic, villain betrays new animal character, animal character teams up with Sonic to fight bigger threat". I'm certain Shadow is in good hands with the movie team, but it has me cautiously optimistic until more info is given.

ITS WHAT THURSDAY ON A FRIDAY Fingers crossed for Amy and Metal in Sonic 3 as well. I genuinely think with how well Tails and Knuckles were adapted there's enough room to give more characters time to shine.

I think the biggest problem the script writers are gonna face is why Geralt made a hedgehog the ultimate lifeform. In the games world, bipedal animal chracaters exist alongside humans so it makes sense he could make a walking talking hedgehog. But in the movie there are multiple worlds, so how does he know about these species. The Chaos mural/Doomsday zone mural are easy to explain and could be found in the labyrinth zone or other ruins similar to the Siberia Murals from the second movie. A guess I have is that maybe he got in contact with alien species with the Ark's incredibly powerful satellite, which would be similar to how Eggman escapes the mushroom planet in the second movie since the Ark in both Shadow the Hedgehog and SA2 transmits messages across the entire globe. I do wonder how they'd introduce Amy. Maybe she's in a circus doing Tarot cards since they predicted she'd meet sonic at the circus because of a chaos emerald being there.

The ending was amazing, when eggman died I feel like the third movie would follow up the Sonic Adventure 2/Sonic X storyline the way he opened his eyes give me goosebumps I feel like it would make sense if they brought Maria as a flashback scene and Rouge in the present timeline and we'll might eventually see that experiment scene before the GUN came out and interrupt it and man Shadow The Hedgehog was a sad game for some reason ;-; I feel like the third movie would be more edgy once Sonic meet Shadow I would love to see Robert playing Shadow since the Batman (2022) movie was inspired by the game great video on the topic fadel! :D

As long as there’s a scene where knuckles tries to catch shadows spindash only to get his shit absolutely unequivocally cataclysmically FUCKED in the process to show how strong shadow actually is. I need that injected into my retinas

I feel like Rouge has to be coming either in the third move or in the Knuckles show all of the plot points that introduce her are in play being the Master Emerald and Shadow

I'm excited for Sonic movie 3. I feel that the movie will dive into the Hedgehog lore and how Gerald discovers it and how it connects to Shadow's origin instead of being created from Black Doom which is why Amy should also be in the movie not only to complete the main five heroes of the series even though Shadow will be a villain throughout the movie, but we will get 3 hedgehogs which can make the film even bigger and I hope the tone will be similar to No Way Home like how the previous 2 films are comedic and a little serious but the third film is serious and little comedic. Also for the final battle, I want to either see Sonic and Shadow fight each other in their super forms similar to the final battle in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" but in space, or Sonic and Shadow fight together against Metal Sonic. One more thing. If somehow they put in a non-sonic character but is related to Sega, Then I would like to see Kiryu Kazuma from the Yakuza series in the movie even though that may never happen but it would be cool to see.

This movie was and is TRULY peak cinema! I hope we get introduced to Amy in Sonic Movie 3, and hopefully Jim Carrey comes back for the final film in the trilogy before he retires for good🙏🏾

From a narrative standpoint, it's necessary that Amy and Rouge appear in the same movie. Even with some expected character tweaks, they're almost exact opposites and perfect for each other's foils. If you're going to have a token girl on the good and bad sides, show how they compare and contrast.

You brought up a bunch of reasons why I think Sonic Movie 3 should be PG-13. You can't have Shadow toned down, it would just feel weird. Plus staying true the og source material should remain consistent going into Shadow.

I think we're going to get Amy _and_ Rouge. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, but they're both very important to SA2's story. Also, having just one female character alongside four male characters isn't... great. Two to four also isn't great, but it's better, especially since Tails is voiced by a woman. I'd want Amy to be portrayed like she is in the Adventure games, where she's not completely helpless but definitely out of her league, and she has a thing for Sonic but isn't crazy about it. They could completely copy her role from SA2, where she contributes nothing and keeps getting left behind and ignored, and then she realizes she should probably contribute near the end. It would be justified in this case because she won't have any powers or combat prowess of any kind. This way, she wouldn't require a ton of screen time, allowing Rouge to be in the movie as well. I also want Eggman in the movie, and I want him to make an announcement.

Not sure if anyone else has really brought this up but I feel if they don't change how Maria dies then to get things a bit less "holy shit that guy just murked a kid" they could do what Sonic X did and actually talk to the agent who did it since that whole thing messed him up mentally. IIRC in X it wasn't meant to actually hit her it was just supposed to be a warning shot but the guy was in a panic and didn't aim right

I could definitely see them changing biolizard to either Perfect Chaos or even Neo Metal Sonic.

I can absolutely seen stone being obssessed with eggman and want revenge on sonic and looks into eggman's grandfather and basically take his place in the story of SA2 but eventually realizing he isn't actually evil and has a change of heart

Now if they do indeed do some Black Doom silliness, which I highly doubt they will, I want them to go all in. Shadow saying damn every other sentence, Black Doom just destroying cities, going into the digital world, Shadow telling GUN soldiers they're going straight to hell. But also Eclipse the Darkling making a comeback would be cool asf, could give Shadow a bond beside Maria and possibly Rouge. But what I think will happen, and what I want to happen, is for them to go all in on the hedgehog lore. Tails has a clan, we know what happened to the Echnidas, so what about hedgehogs? Could be a hedgehog party, bring in Metal, Amy, Shadow, and Silver. But even if it's only one of those four, I would be interested in them going in on that lore. Also, perhaps more about Shadow being a cure? I know it's only lightly touched on in the series proper, but Shadow being immortal and the cure to all diseases could serve an interesting plotline.

I think if anything, rouge and/or the chaotix will be introduced in the knuckles tv show if they ever make it into the movie universe (the chaotix are more likely after that prequill comic)

BRO, I just know that if they hit hard on Maria’s death and how tragic it is AND Shadow’s potential sacrifice then the movie is 100% gonna make me cry 😭 😭

I was finally able to watch the movie and I definitely enjoyed it, but I couldn't think of where they would take Shadow, especially since I thought Sonic was the first instance of "Alien Life" on Earth. I was also wondering how they would introduce other characters, but to avoid having a crowded cast, I guess introducing her in the Knuckles show (Which I kind of forgot about) Would be a good idea. Then in Sonic 3, we could have those characters return and then have new characters with the introduction of Shadow and maybe Amy. I think the third movie could deal with Sonic finally reaching his full maturity like they were talking about in the sequel, when he has to face his evil half. Especially since Eggman is gone, I would assume Shadow would be the villain with him misunderstanding everything and all. Although, if we need to have a consistent villain, maybe we could finally make the switch to Metal Sonic and have him be the main villain for the movie timeline!? Although, if they to keep Eggman and don't want to keep Jim Carrey from retirement, then maybe you could say Eggman transfers his consciousness into Metal Sonic. That way, Jim Carrey can retire and maybe you can call up the original voice actor to voice lines for Metal Sonic/Eggman. I don't know, I'm just giving ideas...

I feel like this is a great opportunity for Sonic as a series to flesh out lore better than before, and right a lot of wrongs. I hope they don't do Black Doom, but instead focus in on what makes the Hedgehog race so important. And furthermore, hedgehogs connection to Chaos energy. The fact that Sonic will find another Hedgehog who was actually there before him is really intriguing to me; that he and Shadow would be curious about their connection to the emeralds and the past of the Hedgehogs. I think exploring the Echidnas protecting the emeralds and Knuckles connection to them as well would also be interesting. If they go this route instead of having Black Doom I think it does a lot more for the characters, and in which case they can have Chaos be the final boss that Sonic and Shadow fight; and kinda combine elements of SA and SA2, just like they had elements of S2 and S3&K.

Heres my thing, amy sees sonic getting captured, she shows up, tails and knuckles make an escape plan, she breaks sonic out, says “i have heard so much about you” , Maybe like “i am your biggest fan” , and then it ends off with amy living with tom and maddie. While shadow and maybe rouge ( if that happens in the show) do their thing

My hope is that they do Maria justice in live action, if there were ever a human character they HAD to get right for this movie to work, its Maria

I think we'll see Team Chaotix in the Knuckles series. Heck they might even use the Knuckles Chaotix story as a basis for that series

Personally, I think sonic 3 WILL introduce Amy. People underestimate just how marketable Amy is. Every little girl I’ve ever seen who even remotely likes sonic will say they like Amy. Not only that, but out of all the sonic characters out there, shes definitely one of the most iconic, so not including her wouldn’t feel right. One massive hope I have for the knuckles show is they introduce the chaotix in that show, and they exist as main characters in the show. I can imagine them trying to run their detective agency but they keep scaring the shit out of people, so they aren’t able to make any business, except for knuckles, who asks for help with finding master emerald shards. I think that would be BAD ASS

Sonic 3 is going to be "a sonic movie."

I feel like their gonna pull a "Black Widow" with Amy and Rouge. They will have short backstories of girls both human and alien being kidnapped and forced to work as an agent of GUN in search of the master emerald. More so Amy being separated from her family of hedgehogs she will always question her mission and unloyal to the task at hand. Rouge on the other hand will be mischievous and take her job seriously, but she'll eventually plot to take the master emerald for herself. You know the first rule is to never fall in love, Rouge will be flirty with everyone around her especially Knuckles but will always use love as a trick to get what she wants. Amy will eventually meet Sonic and break that rule turning her back on GUN and falling in love with him, becoming the new member of the gang.

The more I think about it, Shadow is a lot like Mewtwo

I'm more worried about how will the humans stay useful to the story, without a problematic b-plot. I think they should have Tom's father involved with the murder of Maria, have Shadow mistake him for his father, and decides to kill him, with some flashbacks, and a dive into Tom's family backstory. Why? In the first movie, Maddie stated: "There's been a Wachowski protecting this town for over 50 years." And in the second, Tom stated to Sonic: "My dad wants to take the right direction." ~The Wachowski Family Special. Notice we never see any biological Wachowski family members? Anyway, you mentioned some good points about Shadow's story, that raises the question: Will Sonic 3 recieve a PG rating like the predecessors? I'm calling it, Sonic 3 will be PG-13.

How they should do it. Make the movie 3 arcs Characters: Amy, Rouge, Black Doom, Tikal, Shadow of course 1 - shadow's introduction causing the Humans to confuse him for Sonic. Hes getting the emeralds. 2 - space colony part BUT the twist will be that the eclipse cannon will be stopped by Sonic and Shadow and Shadow will disappear assuming hes dead BUT the Black Aliens will invade right here. 3 - Sonic is gonna fight them as lose and shadow will return to save them

*Beginning* -The movie would start with robotnik finding Shadow and waking him up. And he's going to destroy gun. - rouge would be deployed as the government secret, because the government was keeping an alien (her) hidden and using her as a spy - they asked her to go get the Master emerald, causing it to break again with her and knuckles fighting. - Sonic would be hunted because they would think that shadow is him. - Shadow convinces robotnik to get the chaos emeralds to rule the planet. *Plot twist:* throughout the movie you hear a voice and shadows head telling him to steal the emeralds and use the eclipse Cannon* - Rouge joins robotnik and Shadow to spy on them *Middle:* - Amy is introduced - tails and Amy break Sonic Out and creates a spaceship to get to space colony ark with a cannon is. - knuckles at this time fixes the Master emerald and tells them that he can use it to stop the cannon - they go to space *Third part and Plot twist* - Shadow reveals that the cannon is going to destroy the planet which is not what robotnik wants and Shadow tells him it's too late to stop it. (Shadow is still following the voices in his head) - robotnik joins Sonic to Fight Shadow and stop him from destroying the planet - Sonic and shadow fight each other, Sonic wins and he and knuckles uses the Master Emerald stop the cannon. And shadow quickly steals the emeralds disappears *Final parts:* - when they return to Earth they see that a lot of Earth is destroyed and aliens took over - Black Doom is introduced and Shadow is reintroduced on his side - G.U.N. and donut lord and Sonic try to defend the Earth but Sonic is defeated by black Doom who has all the emeralds shadow gave him - at the very end Shadow is reminded by Maria and Gerald robotnik that the cannon was only supposed to be used to stop black Doom from invading Earth. - Shadow fights black Doom Sonic joins in and they get the emeralds and get their super forms and take them down. - movie ends with Shadow walking his own path. Post credit scene is that you see eggman creating Metal Sonic

Honestly wonder if Paramount actually gonna kill off Shadow like what Yugi Naka originally intended to do for the character or decide to go the Sega/Sonic Team route by letting him live cuz popularity. I would honestly be more interested if Paramount decided to choose the first option, but I doubt they will let Shadow go cuz there still can be more interest storylines to be told for this character and mostly Shadow just incredibly marketable tho. If Paramount decided to let Shadow live then I would like it alot better if Shadow actually decided to join up with G.U.N. 06's story was absolute dumpsterfire but the writers made a interesting idea of Shadow joining up with G.U.N. The problem is that the game doesn't show or even explain how n why G.U.N n Shadow were cool working together, especially after what G.U.N did to Shadow back in the ARK. The writers just left the players think of how Shadow n G.U.N made peace with each other which is just bad writing. If Paramount decided to grab this concept but actually give time to show why Shadow decided to work with G.U.N or other way around, then I think this idea could work and gives an interesting character developmemt for Shadow (Plus if Paramount decided to bring in Rouge n later Omega, then it would be dope seeing Team Dark interact again). Also it would be weird if Shadow was good and decides to live with Sonic n gang as part of the family at the end.

I want Sonic 3 to be the Godzilla vs Kong of Sonic. Shadow and Sonic fight for most of the movie, and then Metal Overlord is the big bad at the end of the movie. That would be lit as HELL

If Jim doesn't come back, Gerald Robotnik should be a more major character. Maybe he's been in cryosleep for 50 years as well. Someone like Willem Dafoe or J.K. Simmons would be really great choices for the role.

They NEEEEEED to do both Sa2 AND Shadow the hedgehog story. Gotta make it a bit dark. It's a kid appealing movie but you got to make it dark to do it right. They can say that Maria died without necessarily saying or showing that she dies.

Surprised no one else has brought this up but I hope they humanized more of the folks abord the ARK. I'd love to see a TV show taking place 50 years ago kind of like Star Trek Deep Space 9. With Shadow and a small group go around solving mysteries on the Space Colony ARK.

In my point of view Shadow story will be changed. Making shadow the main villain of the whole movie that could last two movies. Shadow challenging Sonic’s friends. Making shadow the catalyst of change for the tone of the movies from silly to all the way to serious and dark paving the way to PG-13. Their won’t be any other sonic characters introduced. We already have human females if want to make them strong turn Maddie into a G.U.N. Agent.

Jim Carrey apparently stated he did Sonic 2 for his niece or grandkids or something, so I expect him to retire. I think what would be cool is if Eggman just vanishes, and Agent Stone becomes the new "Dr." of the movies, deciding to go find Shadow to carry Robotnik's legacy forward and get revenge on Sonic.

really hyped for the chaotix(especially if mighty appears.)/tikal possibly with the knuckles spinoff. with how jim carrey wants robotnik to be fat next movie/how much the role revitalized him think he'll be it for a while,with the biolizard i actually think it should be chaos with how different the lore is (can easily change shadow's backstory to replace the dumb black doom stuff.) and with shadow think seeing more of his relationship with gerald(think it could work the question is if the ark will appear.)/maria(her death could work as disney gets away with darker stuff than that, if anything gerald being swiss cheese from a firing squad needs to go.) would be nice. actually would love to see tom/maddies stick around(favorite humans in sonic along with maria,sara,sonic x outside chris and the unleashed humans and love their relationship with sonic.)and hope we see metal sonic/amy(actually would like if they had her live with rachel with how a joke in the 1st movie implies she might be living in the real world like how in sa1 she lived in station square.) along with rouge(with g.u.n's return could see her being a agent they secretly use and would love to see omega in the future.) for 3 which i'd love with how well handled the characters have been and the people have love and respect for the source material(one of the directors did work on the games and they really put some obscure nods at times.).

I'm definetly seing Shadow get a gun, they show a super cool slow motion or something of him grabbing the gun, and then it just turns out to be an airsoft gun for the laughs

I think if Jim Carrey doesn't come back I can see Shadow taking main stage as the Villian And he awakens Chaos instead of the arks space eclipse cannon And then sonic teams up with shadow to fight the funny water dude Im hoping rogue and Amy show up Bit I think it would be the biggest Brian move to give sonic movie 3 2 post credit scenes 1 setting up the next film 2 right at the end all the way at the of credits past the companies logos We get Big the cat ( voiced by Morgan Freeman) taunting the audience for not leaving the movie theater

I feel that they should show a good amount of Maria and Shadow's relationship in a flashback. At least somewhere from 6 to 10 minutes long of just them bonding until that unlucky day

Spoilers ahead, ramble time my working theory for Sonic Movie 3 is that it'll be a mix of CD and adventure 2, cause shadow's in the end credits of 2, and i think they're gonna bring in amy and metal sonic as well cause like in Sonic 2 there was the good side and bad side and each one had like a sonic character on it (Sonic and Tails on the hero side, Knuckles on Robotnik's side for 80% of the movie). now that GUN's a thing and they found Shadow, i think they'll weaponize him/make him join their side as an agent to take out sonic, so then it'll be the heroes vs GUN I'm sure eggman will show up while sonic and shadow are fighting, and then be confused, like "oh god now there's TWO SONICS?!" and then gets destroyed by sonic and shadow. emotionally damaged, he gives up, going down a depression phase and eating alot (or some other tactic to get him fat lol). then eggman sees them fighting on like a hologram or on TV, and while he's eating away, he monologues about his loss, and ends his speech by saying "Answer me this, Agent Stone... I could barely deal with one sonic, now there's *two*... how can i stop a sonic if i don't *have* a sonic..." and that's when it hits him. He sits up straight and he's like "wait a minute... if i can't *get* a sonic of my own..." then he pulls out sonic's quill, "then i'll *make* a sonic of my own." That’d be the lead in to Metal Sonic. then it'll be a 3 way 'sonic' fight of Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Shadow (heroes vs villains vs GUN). I can totally see them using this 3-way conflict as a marketing campaign for the 3rd movie like "3 sides, 3 hedgehogs, 3rd movie" or something like that and as far as amy goes, the only reason i think she'll appear is fan appeal/demand, and to get some Sonic girls in the movies. I can totally see a gag in the 3rd film where Tom, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are all rough-housing at their house, and maddie walks in and says something akin to "hey, you boys need to cool it! ugh, there's too many boys in the house" and then that'll be Amy's que to come in lol. i have no idea if they'll try and adapt her personality from the games in the movies, or if they'll try to make her more standoffish. if they make amy in love with sonic in the movies, it might be kinda weird if they're living together and she's always after sonic lmao. maybe amy will go live with maddie's sister, Rachel since she has her daughter, Jojo, and her and amy can be like 'sisters'. and that'd be a way to tie Rachel and Jojo back in since they keep bringing them back lmao. i could see the studio using that approach as a way to give any younger girls that were dragged to the movie cause their brother likes sonic a character to better connect to, instead of funny haha fart joke sonic and if jim carrey doesn't come back to do sonic 3, i could see agent stone taking over as the bad guy for the movie, getting revenge on sonic for ‘killing’ his beloved robotnik Those are theories lol, I’m looking for the 3rd movie regardless of whether or not it comes true :)

I hope sonic and toms relationship should be a closed to or like a parallel to shadow and maria's relationship and when maria dies it makes shadow get revenge and it could increase tom and sonic relationship more

Jim Carrey will come back to play Dr Ivo Robotnik for Sonic Movie 3

In my opinion I don't think we really need Amy or Rouge in the third film because I really want the writers to focus on Shadow's story and make it perfect. It is a dark storyline after all. The third movie will already have a big cast with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie, Agent Stone, Shadow, Maybe Dr. Robotnic, and Maria and Dr. Robotnic's grandfather. I think they have plenty of characters in for the next movie that won't feel overwhelming for everyone and the writers. We don't want the film to end up being a Spider-Man 3. It can also give us time for us to see the relationship between Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as a family and how they work. Plus I think Sonic can do just fine in convincing Shadow to turn good instead of Amy. Also there has to be a good reason as to why Amy or Rouge wants to go to Earth.

This movie should definitely have Black Doom as the final villain for sure BECAUSE hes the reason the Cannon and Shadow exist

Movie 3 100% i feel is gonna be a mix of SA1 and SA2, Alot of characters im sure are gonna be introduced in this movie if its gonna be Adventure based. It would be super cool through out the movie we get glimps of shadow's past if he ever ends up in his small emotional moments in the movie like what happens in SA2, I feel the movie would at least Two and a half or Three Hours long considering whats gonna be added into this movie, Chaos and The Bio-Lizard Should 100% Find a way to be put into the movie, Robotnik during the movie should go through his arc like he does in SA2 and Ends up allying with the main team to take down the big threat in Sonic 3, PLUS WE GONNA GET A SUPER SONIC AND SUPER SHADOW TEAM UP!!!

What I want is that in the movie they have to recreate the faker scene line for line

You know, I wonder if chaos could be in place for the bio lizard. It looks like the writers are gonna pull different ideas from the other games, so I can see them trying to splice SA1 and 2 by starting off with SA2. then maybe let it lead into an emerald Tresure hunt with inspiration from sonic heroes, and end it on space colony ark with super sonic and shadow fighting Chaos as the lizard because the master emerald was stolen. Maybe that wont happen, but just a thought. I do hope amy is in it, becasue I agree that a female would spice things up, plus amy has her own big moments in the game. they could also make shadow a bit darker by having him kidnap amy and use her as bait. but if not, then lets hope she's at least in the end credit scene; mostly cause If they want more human action, they could easily pull a sonic x scenario with Tom talking to shadow instead of amy.

Potentially a mix of SA2 and Heroes for movie 3. I know a good amount of people wanted Metal Sonic, but it simply had to be Shadow first.

They should convince Jim Carrey to do atleast 2 more movies and the 4th movie should be about Shadow and SA2 plot. After that they could do 2 more movies hopefully still with Jim Carrey, Sonic 5 could cover Black Doom or a 'mini-series' and Sonic 6th movie should mix the ending of Sonic X first 52 episodes where they needed to return to their own dimension and all the other animals with some elements from the Sonic 06 Videogame, with Mephiles, the Ibliss Trigger, Silver, Blaze and time traveling. This would also be a nice ending for the overal movie franchise instead of banking on it forever. Maybe a bit of Sonic Unleashed elements too. Also I think a battle against Perfect Chaos needs to happen first before Shadow as we need more Super Sonic in solo action before him teaming up with Shadow and the Chaos Emeralds also needs a plot for better establishment and this would work better if they adapt SA1 plot first, especially considering GUNS role in SA2. They really need to figure it out with Jim Carrey as Robotnik is the instigator for a lot plot lines happening in the games, it wouldn't work as good otherwise.

They can handle Maria’s death in the way almost every other death in the Sonic Movies do; Death implied, not shown. Also I think Metal Sonic could be the villain of a Sonic Movie 4 to replace Eggman since even if Jim Carey comes back for Movie 3 that’s probably gonna be it. I can see Shadow getting his own Movie or Show to continue to expand on his character even if he “dies” at the end of Movie 3. And for the whole debate on the final villain being the Bio-Lizard or not, I mean the Bio-Lizard can work if it has more build up to it and you know actually matters like maybe the Bio-Lizard is a combination of all of the other failed experiments of Project Shadow. Anyways I’m super excited for Sonic Movie 3 and I can’t wait to see what they do. Also if any of these predictions are right uhhh (Spoiler Warning).

with the success of the movies so far if 3 does well want to see it go into a sega cinematic universe with robotnik/agent stone with a quill powered metal sonic stealing sonic's rings opening ring portals into sega worlds like alex kidd,space channel 5,nights,bayonetta especially(would really love to see movie sonic tails meet & have friendly banter with the umbran witch/could see it add to the lore making them the owners of longclaws race or making the emeralds.:3),sakura wars,samba de amigo,clockwork knight,persona/catherine,streets of rage,jet set radio,billy hatcher,super monkey ball,toejam and earl,monster world,bonanza bros.dinosaur king,shenmue/virtua fighter,rythm thief or puyo puyo to get the chaos emeralds with sonic and friends going through the portals to search for them.

If Jim Carrey ends up not coming back. I think Stone would work really well as a main villain. Maybe he uses that one quill Eggman has to power his own robot and that ends up leading to Metal Sonic or something? Maybe it's super clunky and it's Silver Sonic first then it gets refined to become the Metal Sonic we know? I can't shake the feeling we'll get another Sonic character in Sonic 3 other than Mr post credits man.

I think there's a chance that they will do Maria's death in the same way as the games, SA2/Shadow didn't show the actual impact of the gunshot either.

Something has been on my mind about some people worrying about them adding to many characters especially with the CGI characters like Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. But this is freaking Paramount Pictures here, like do you know another movie franchise that Paramount owns that also has Cgi characters, Transformers. Like how many Cgi characters did Transformers have, like they had Optiums Prime, Bumblebee, to Megatron, Star scream and countless others from Autobots and Decepticons. So I don't think it would be too concerning if they did added at least 1 or 2 more CGI Sonic Characters into Sonic 3 alongside with Shadow intro. I just want them to recreate that moment between Amy and Shadow from the climax of SA2, Sonic X completely screwed that over. Like who then hell is gonna convince Shadow in the 3rd film if its not Amy. I'm just sort of mixed on having Shadow in 3rd film because none of the major players are set for it like Amy and Rouge.

I think they won’t put Amy or Rouge in the third movie. Agent Stone will have the inside info on where the emeralds are on prison island, since he’s infiltrated GUN already. Tom and his wife will take the hostage spot of Amy on the Ark, and will eventually tip Shadow over to the good side.
