Interesting to see how Lays in the US only takes basic 4-5 flavours but put them on so many potato chip alliterations, whereas here in Canada, we have soooo many more flavours (ketchup, smoked bacon, dill pickle, the special limited edition flavours, etc) but only like 2 types of chips

I actually did a science experiment about lays chips. Classic, kettle cooked, and baked (I didn't know about wavy's at the time). It was about the amount of grease and from what i remember, classic had the most, kettle cooked was a close second, and baked had basically none.

When I was a kid, there was two types of original lays. One was called original and had a red packaging and the other one was called originais and had a yellow packaging. They tasted different they red one was definitely better but unfortunately the red one kinda disappeared, you can’t find them at the supermarket anymore.

In Sweden we have OLW chips. They are some of the best chips you can get, especially sourcream & onion. If you ever come to Sweden try them.

I've had most of these, but I still find your review entertaining. I had no idea about the Lays Stax. I'll have to look out for them. The Classic Lays, Sour Cream and Onion Lays, and Kettle Cooked Jalepeño are some of the best chips out there.

Hard to believe salt and vinegar is divisive over there. Here in the UK and Ireland it's second in popularity only to cheese and onion. Next is probably just salted or perhaps prawn cocktail
