purple ground pollution: Modded solution = "hide it!". Unmodded solution= decorate surrounding areas with props, paths, plazas, etc. (not trees, since they will wilt.) personally, i'd recommend unmodded solution. I feel like this is how the game intended. irl cities has to deal with this too, and not all industrial areas in the world are slums; but this route has learning curve (you have to pay attention to the pollution radius, and learn which buildings could be used to mask the ground and which buildings don't mind the pollution). However, with limited dlcs this might not be the best way; more dlcs = more creative tools at your disposal; but at least you have some workshop assets you could use. If you're streaming this sometimes, perhaps chat can help with moveit (or other mods/ tools).

Thank you SO much for the comment and helpful advice :D HIDE IT is one of the mods that kept giving me trouble, and the No More Desert (I think) was outdated (all of Bloody Penguin's mods are defunct but a few are still usable). I have to agree with you in that Industry isn't necessarily overly polluted and RARELY causes ground issues. I think some folks just don't care for the 'purple' hue in the game. I never minded, to be honest, but worry that some viewers might take offense at seeing it in my city. This series is a learning process for me, so I hope everyone bares that in mind and continues to offer helpful advice!
