Ris, you don't seem to be enjoying doing these Death Battle videos anymore. If you aren't having fun, you shouldn't force yourself to do them. For the sake of completion you might as well do the finale, but after that one if you don't feel like doing these anymore you shouldn't force yourself to do these reactions for the next season.

You are correct that lifting a bolder underwater is easier, however, they did state they took that into consideration when they calculated Batman's strength.

I don't think lifting thinks underwater would be easier. You also gotta take into account of how much water pressure is pressing on you, plus since the rock sinks, that means the density of the rock is greater than water in general. I forgot the formula of calculating an objects density. I think its mass divided by volume. It explains how boats are able to float when they are very heavy. But anyway, since the rock sinks all the way down to the floor, then the density would be far greater than water. So lifting it underwater would either be no different or harder since you are also technically lifting the water pressure above you.

Regarding your question about being underwater making it easier to lift that boulder - they specified taking that into account. They only said "in water" so it's not clear if they used salt water or fresh water (which would have different impacts).

Don’t forget also that Batman beyond lifted the limestone in Antarctica where the water is heavy because of the cold salt water. the reason the fight was short was because they just finished Naruto vs Ichigo which had a lot of custom sprites and took a lot of there time, So they had to cut the fight down and make it shorter so they could be on schedule. P.S. if you want a source its there death battle cast a live stream they do for first members then later posts on youtube. hope this clears it up :)

Great reaction as always. I heard you say that you don't know that much about Vergil, and you said that you might read this comment, so here we go. Btw this may be a little too long but here we go. History Vergil is from the devil may cry series. He is the oldest son of a demon named sparda and a human named Eva. He is also Dante's older brother. He was separated from his family by another demon named mundus who killed sparda and Eva. In the meantime he was planning on ruling the human world with demons. But Eventually, he met Dante again when he was 18, and Dante stopped his plan. Weapons Vergil's main weapon is a legendary katana called Yamato. It is so powerful, it can slice through a giant titanium block. (I don't know the size, but its impressive, right?) he can fire projectiles from his sword too. He can also use the swords sheath to increase his power. ( in other words, his sheath is like a phone charger and the sword is the phone itself.) he also has Beowulf gauntlets and boots, which are perfect for melee attacks. They are very strong strong too. (Look at replies for more info on Vergil. I accidentally hit the reply button. Silly me.)

Well they did say they accounted for the boulder's buoyancy. Personally, I would think that the water pressure would cause the boulder to weigh more, not less, but the numbers they pulled up on screen do make sense. Also, something they mentioned in the pre-fight info, but didn't go over in the after-fight analysis, was that Beyond had fought the Justice Lords. The Justice Lords are an alternate reality Justice League. I'm not entirely familiar with the Beyond plot that the Lords appear in, but from the sounds of it, Terry fought six of the DCAU's heaviest hitters, including Superman and Wonderwoman. True, the DCAU versions of these characters are nowhere near as powerful as their comic counterparts, but that's still a super impressive feat.

The announcement of next time was the biggest disappointment I had all day and that includes my cell phone breaking. Ever since I started doing reactions to these, I've entered the "next time" segments with a plea for Sephiroth to fight Kefka from Final Fantasy 6. It's the biggest inter-fandom battle of all time, bigger than Batman v Superman, bigger than anything. For over twenty years we've debated this and to have it on a show like this would be the most wonderful thing. And yet denied! Denied at the gates of paradise! Ris, you should play those games. 6 and 7 are generally though of as the highlights of the franchise.
