LET THERE BE CARNAGE...in Marvel vs Capcom! 

A 5th Marvel vs. Capcom game I feel would be a success if it were made today especially since Marvel can put X-Men and Fantastic Four characters in the game now especially.

Can’t believe they managed to make a new moveset for Carnage that feels near official. Like they even implemented Dark Carnage. UMvC3 modding is something else.

UMVC3 became the Super Smash Melee of traditional fighting games in recent years. Its a pretty old game that is still played to this day, is full of broken stuff and now is getting modded like crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if a full on Project M like mod came out for this game and you know what I am all up for it. Also Carnage having the Spiderman Ps1 Super is fucking amazing

Really surprised they were able to get Carnage looking so good. His level 3 is his tier 3 skill animation from a mobile game called Marvel Future Fight, and the voice lines are from Ultimate Alliance 2. Not saying that’s a bad thing, I’m actually pretty impressed it was implemented so well. Makes me wish I had a PC.

Realized while watching this that Spider-Gwen has a Gwenom install, so you can have an all-symbiote team in this update. It's a dream come true.

These modders are blowing me away. I remember when changing colors was a big deal and now we're at this point, it's incredible.

Was Silver Surfer ever in a fighting game? That's a character I'd love to see with this level of quality, but idk if there's precedent

Man I wish the modders would release this a full pack of this version, it's tiring trying to piece together all of these mods together, and the only one's I'm missing now would be these recolors version and the new Char-Select screen (which I heard was tourno only :c ).

That's not carnage, that's spider carnage when Ben Reilly (a clone of Peter Parker) as spiderman got the carnage symbiote. Which is evident with the coloring of the character.

If MvC4 (or 5 depending) will happen in the future, then I hope the main villain will either be Kang the Conqueror or the Beyonder. For Kang, he has time traveling abilities and can possibly cause the two worlds to meet as with a distortion in the space-time continuum For the Beyonder, he has near omnipotent powers and was rwsponsible of bring several Marvel heroes and villians in the entire multiverse to one planet to fight each other in the Secret Wars comic. This same setup could easily become the reason why the Marvel and Capcom worlds have merged.

I feel like these mods are gonna sour people on the next actual MVC game if we ever get one. They're almost *too* good.

As someone who was heartbroken when I heard Venom wasn't included in this game and in the og 3 one, these modders vindicated me all these years.

Man they got Carnage insanely creepy, Venom a little weird voice but still decently looking.

These mods make me ridiculously happy. Seeing Venom in Umvc3 is a dream come true, and seeing Carnage with all the Maximum Carnage references doesn't feel real. The modders should be paid for what they're delivering

If there is one new age capcom character that truly deserved a spot in the vs series it should've been Asura. The dude was practically meant for this absurdity and seeing him fight the likes of Venom and others is so refreshing and welcoming

I wonder if modders could do something with the Random character selection button to add additional characters. Like maybe even have input codes for their characters, not as crazy as trying to get a secret character from an old SF game, but like down down select. I don't know if the random select has any special properties but for some reason I feel like maybe you could keep adding characters without slots if you could pull them from the random instead of running out of visible slots on the selectable roster. Though with how crazy the mod community is for this game, something like that has probably already been thoroughly explored

I said this before and again, Capcom needs to hire the people who made this mod! Or, better yet, Capcom needs to contact the modders and work with them to create the latest edition of UMVC3. Capcom did something similar with a Mega Man fan who created Mega Man x Street Fighter, it could work the same way with this.

I'm hoping they add sigma here. That character is honestly the main reason why I revisit infinite every now and then.

Way back when during the weeks leading up to MvC3 launching, I remember them announcing the roster one character a week and I cannot tell you how badly I wanted Carnage to be on there.

I would love it if someone could mod Astaroth from Ghosts and Goblins in the game, would be sick to have a 3 man G&G team. His model's already in the background of the series' stages, I don't know how much easier that would make anything but I feel like you at least wouldn't have to create a model from scratch

That Carnage model is from Ultimate Alliance 2. Could be a good guess as to potential Marvel chracters. At least, model wise. Green Goblin anyone? Or even a better Psylocke model.

These modders are crazy, the moment they figure out how to increase the character slots we will basically get the Equivalent of 3D Mugen

Don't know if anyone pitch the idea to any of the modders but a Giant Sized book (maybe shrink the text a little) would work but I can only imagine how much of a pain to even do something like that.
