The CC is still useful for extra storage space for items even if you are not driving it around. With a little bit of setup you can have the CC be higher up on the magnet which helps avoid Giants and Old Birds.

Extra note: Doing this will sometimes not show items being collected on the grading card and will give less exp, but the loot still stays.

This may get patched in later versions, but for now this works fine currently in V56/V55.
