I'm low on Wood of all things, and think - hrm. Maybe a blood magic ritual to help? Now Livestreaming at: dw20.live/tw Follow me on Twitter: dw20.live/twitter
Nostalgia man just nostalgia that's just everything I feel when I watch him. It makes me sad that he's not a larger youtuber. The only reason he's not (imo) is that he doesn't play to the algorithm with vid length but he is such an amazing youtuber and has been super consistent for the last 10(?) Years
Someone else also pointed out that an Environmental Controller is capable of feeding you to max saturation and you can make it... ridonkulously long reaching.
@@ScarletFlames1 necroposting here a bit, but as of me typing this, the Environmental Controller is not in the pack. not sure if it just hasn't been updated yet or if it's been removed as of 1.16 but yeah. not in the pack at all. neither is the environmental tech multiblock that did something similar
Just make a max tier vanilla regeneration beacon for faster regen. You've got more than enough iron. And nether stars are also no problem with the Wither farm. You could probably spam your base with beacons at this point.
@@ChrisCeleste Haha you're right 😂😂 and it would just be floating out 20 blocks, or when he uses dirt and says it'll turn into grass instead of using the thounsands of grass blocks he has
Also he made the rat takes damage thingy he might as well just carry it around on his shoulder. Might prevent the huge damage spikes of magic damage he gets sometimes.
At least in the past the Well of Suffering has had a feature to instakill any mob that has given a total LP equal to it's max health to prevent regen shenanigans
More door stats: Front Door used this Episode: x17 Back Door used this Episode: x1 (6%) Front Door used since E38: x231 Back Door used since E38: x135 (37%) I started this expecting that Dire (like I think he did in the last Let's Play where he lived in the pyramid) would use his backdoor more often than his front door. I was curious if I was right. Now that Dire has his blood magic area right through his front door I think I could stop this stats counter since I do not expect the backdoor use to get a significant uprise.
I was about to comment about Dires knowledge of vanilla but then he examined why he was going for a raid and I am actually really impressed with him lol
other options are expanding the treefarm area, getting into botania , that has a flower that speeds up crops and trees or putting a ton of tick accelerator rats under the dirt
This is how I self-sacrificed my way to tier 4 blood magic. Three or so duration and the rest filled with augment with a tier 2 book kept me fully healed even when getting swarmed by zombie pigmen. Also, the Shield spell in Ars is really powerful. Haven't tested it with the altar, but I have tried it with a Harm rune when training poison resist on my armor. Even as low as Shield 3 is stupid powerful and lasts a long while with duration boosts.
Dire, if you make the Chef Rat, you can make Confit Byaldi, which gives a ridiculous amount of saturation when you eat it. Of course you'd also have to take out the auto-feeder from your helmet. Trust me, it's worth it.
You can use the infinity backbag from industrial uses liquid meat auto feeds and half saturation at all times so auto regen essentially and to works the same as the pocket for holding massive amounts of blocks also its a curio
Dire you should make the Teru Teru Bozu from botania to stop rain. Very simple recipe and then will stop rain by throwing a sunflower on it. Plus you can automate it with weather sensor!
You should use a meat feeder from industrial forgegoing because it fill your saturation :) Also you can use the enviromental controller from rftools to apply the regen effect in a set area.
I'm Kind of playing along. And I recently got into minecolonies. I didn't expect me to but I really enjoy it. If you never tried it, i can recommend it. I wanted to start blood Magic but I didn't get far.
I originally set up my world/server for myself and a few friends mainly for Create... after a few days we tried Minecolonies and man that is one hellova rabbit hole... Astral Sorcery to set up a Lucerna ritual... but mostly just minecolonies lol such a good mod!
@@chaossdragon that rabbit hole surprized me aswell. If you look at the number of buildings, there aren't THAT many. But I've been delivering stuff to my builders for weeks and I still don't have all of them available or built. I think every other Mod is faster, stronger and easier in a way. But damn it's satisfying to see my colony grow. :)
@@konigderwelt2174 Yea I only have like 3-4 buildings left to add to the colony, and upgrade everything to 5... Asian style is just so well done! My next colony is going to be stronghold style... lots of stone...
He always does stuff like this. He voids stuff for dozens of episodes and then spends multiple episodes “ramping up” production of the thing he was voiding. All he needed to do was not turn off the tree farm. 24k logs isn’t really that much, and he could have stuck them in a drawer. He does this to produce “reasons” for additional content.
@@robertpickel2447 I'd chalk it more up to negligence and general derpiness than selfish intent. You don't have to look hard to find content to cover in modded mc.
Sorry for a bit out of context question(s): On what CPU are you running your MC servers (this modpack, FTB, Eternal, ...)? I'm running different modbacks (one at the time) for myself and few friends .. and we end up with tick skipping with every other pack, especially big mod backs, while playthrough is only at ~50%. I know that single core perf is the most critical argument. Additionally should I run it on windows or linux? Currently I'm using intel 4160, 16g ram, and currently running on ubuntu server.
If you're looking to cheese blood magic with rats, then you should get a chef rat and have him make confit byaldi. As far as I know, nothing has been done to nerf it, and it provides ludicrous regen for a relatively low cost.
Here's a big disclaimer when it comes to the internal calculation of the capacity/augmented capacity runes. It's currently bugged/not properly implemented and thus at this moment try to obstain from using a lot of them atm as a fix for that is coming; i know this because i submitted a bug report and someone who made a pull request about this referenced my issue. Other than this everything else works just fine. Also laughs in infinite LP while being able to craft quantities of slates that exceed the capacity of the altar itself!! muhahaha ;) (i love you create). Edit: T5 items don't yet exist(except the slate that isn't craftable) but the methods to obtain them are.
Honestly...yes it does feel like we've been doing mek forever... Honestly on mana and artifice...the wisps make me not want to play it at all. Combine the voodoo with that ghost/resurrection upgrade and bam. Also please do woot soonish
The voodo rat upgrade says evenly distributed, and you only take half of a heart of damage, in minecraft thats the minimum damage you can take from any source, so both the rat and you take half heart of damage
The Food from rats mod gives ridiculous regeneration or immunity to the sacrificial dagger damage., have not figured out which yet. You can spam the dagger endlessly.
Dire, the only thing I miss in your play series, is that you always go for the known mods first. Would be interesting if you prioritize "newish" mods first. Not new released mods, new mods that you have added that are not todays stander like thermal. Like the other magics or tech mods that are in the pack
Man, I remember when I first played with blood magic. It was when it first came out I believe. And I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. But since then honestly, I’ve grown tired of it. It just seems like the mod has become, or always has been, overly complicated? To a point where it’s just not fun anymore. And also, no offense really meant, but the mod author just has this... pretentious attitude in the way they talk and act and I’ve never really liked them that much. And that might just be a misunderstanding on my part based on what I’ve heard from them, but that’s what I felt based on what I’ve heard from them and dire’s videos.
Dire, before you continue to claim that you are teaching your audience, please take a week and relearn vanilla. Thanks. And then, dire knows that an entity taking damage for blood has to be within a certain distance of the altar, and he literally reads out loud that the rat has to close to the player as well, but does he try at all to move either close to each other or him, stay tuned, maybe next time we will learn this answer. Hahaha
