Ladies, so much negativity! First off, WRMK certainly did not invent the art of letterpress, they simply have provided a cost effective way of doing it yourself at home. Google letterpress to get an idea of what it actually is and then compare the costs of professional letterpress machines. You'll quickly find that this system is a steal, especially with all of the extras. It's sold as a set so you literally have EVERYTHING you need, right out of the box. I have this and have used this and there really is no comparable process. The results are simply gorgeous and quite professional looking. And once you do the initial setup, making mass cards is a breeze. Add to that it doubles as a stamp positioning tool! All I'm saying is please try it out before judging it. not every craft item sold is geared towards every crafter. Oh and about the multiple time consuming comments - Since when do us crafters make stuff ourselves because it's faster? If I wanted quick, I'd go to Hallmark ;)

I love all of the products; the Crop a Dile on it's own changed my life ... not to mention the Evolution Advanced. It seems though, that between all of the items that need to be purchased separately, paper, adhesive sheets, templates, wipes, cleansing solutions, q-tips, and more ... this is just not for everyone.
Between the ink, the adhesive sheets, the clean up wipes, the platform, the ink guides and the plates themselves, it seems like a lot of products need to be purchased to create a small debossed card with trail and error. The video was great at showing what's involved and the process though, thank you !
thanks for your feedback ladies! we appreciate hearing from you. it means a lot to us, and we take that feedback into consideration carefully. while letterpress may not be for everyone, it's worth noting a few things. 1) this project used two colors of ink, so if you only use one color (which still looks beautiful) it takes half the time. 2) it's hard to see the beautiful look of letterpress in the video. having done a lot of stamping, embossing, and letterpress there is definitely a unique and elegant look to letterpress that you don't get from any other technique, including inking embossing folders. some of that has to do with the nature of the cotton paper, and some with the nature of the resin ink. 3) since letterpress is a more involved craft i like to reserve it for special occasions (as I mentioned in the video). as i said before, letterpress may not be for everyone, but if you have a chance, take a look at some professional letterpress printing at a stationery store. it's really beautiful. =)
Enjoyed your informative video, Aly. I've had one of these for probably 4 or 5 years and have not even taken it out of the box until today. I had misplaced it and found it accidentally today. Now it's where I can find it so was looking for instructions. I need to get a few of the things you used and a couple more colors as it came with a black pad, only. I'd like the clean up eraser and spray bottle, so where do I get them? Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for making the video. You were very clear and the video was great at showing the whole process of letterpress. I think this video could be made better if you showed the card close up. I cant tell the difference between letterpress effect vs normal stamping, I am unable to decided if all the additional products and trouble will be worth while.

jandksplend It can be extra work, but every now and again I get mine out because the results are really really nice. I just wish the products were easier to get in the U.K. I’ve just posted a video on my channel on how I use mine. I just got the ink pads. They are easier to use. I could do with the other colours. Xx
This is a great video and thanks for sharing. I like the ink pads but looks like there is to much clean up with them. I would just try using by brayer and run it over the pad and see if you could do it that way. It does look like a lot of work, but in the end it looks so different than just stamping.
I HAVE THE CUDDLE BUG MACHINE SO IT WILL BE GREAT TO BE ABLE TO USE IT THE INK LOOK GREAT TOO BUT I AM SURE I WOULD FIND A QUICKER WAY OF USE THE PRESS
This video just showed me that I don't want to buy all the produkts. It takes way to much time to get a very simple result that I can get much faster with an reversed embossingfolder and a normal inkpad.

Hmm what’s the difference between this and Sizzix Big Shot? Can it be used as a die-cut machine as well? What material are the plates? It looks like plastic than metal. And for a suggestion, it would be better if the camera could zoom closely to the finished product to help us view clearly the debossed result it delivers since the main aim is to advertise the functionality and efficiency it could bring.

+creationsbyjsheri The Letterpress Ink Pads have a more intense color concentration and are designed to only work with our Letterpress Plates... They won't work well with traditional stamping because they smear and regular ink pads won't work for Letterpressing because they won't show up.

Interesting product, but way too much work and need too many other products. Did not realize this when I purchased some plates at a huge discount. Oh well, I'll find someone who can use them.
This took her approximately 14 minutes to make a card. What happened to just putting your cling stamp to a block and stamping on your paper. I'm not understanding the whole process of putting it through that machine. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be negative but this is a waste of time and money. I don't know what the cost is for everything that was used but I can just imagine it's costly. What happened to using baby wipes for wiping the stamps? I've been an avid scrapbooker, stamper, etc. for over 20 years and I admit, I'm a sucker for the new gadgets out on the market but this is the weirdest I've seen. I'm surprised this is made by We R Memory Keepers because they make great products. This product was obviously approved by a buyer that doesn't stamp (scrapbook, etc.).
Like you, I am an avid stamper with years of experience, and I am thrilled with my system; which I've had for years, before We R Memory Keepers bought out Lifestyle Crafts. Letterpress is different than technique than stamping - it is a reverse embossing (debossing) which adds texture and depth to a project. It offers a different, elegant look to various typesets. Unlike stamping, it isn't as well suited to fine detail work, but is amazing for texts and backgrounds. Unlike pigment and dye-based inks, the Letterpress inks (at least mine) are oil-based, so the baby-wipes aren't overly effective in clean-up, though I have used them for the initial wipe downs of excess ink.
Well this looks very involved. Very time consuming and very expensive. and how many products do you think you demoed here? You make literally everything including a cleaner and wipes I'm a little surprised you didn't use some kind of snazzy Q-tips that your company sells as well. You could be making even MORE money from your customers. Amazing right? I can't even imagine how much this hobby would cost between the ink the templates the adhesive paper the strips the cleaner etc. and What a pain to sit there with a wet Q-tip and go around cleaning the excess. Also maybe you could get your demo people to get a manicure since we are seeing their fingers so close up. You know QVC style? If I sound a little bitchy and bitter it's because I am. Thank you for the time and effort put into the video but you are clearly exploiting your customers and making people go through so much work for an underwhelming result. Give me stamps and an ink-pad any day. Maybe some embossing powder. Done and done. Keep your "debossing" I'll pass.
Melissa Sanchez i dont think shr need a manicure i think her nail look clean and refreshing. I agree with you on how much you need to do the project. But she is doing her job so its not very nice to attack her appearance. Remember its your choice to buy it or not .
