OMG!!! So your mother had your goals all mapped out to fulfill her dreams. Those were her dreams for you. Your dreams were completely different. Most JW's are never asked about their dreams or goals. The are told who they should be. A regular pioneer, etc.
I think a lot of JW parents had unrealistic ideas about what their kids wanted. A sort of reasoning that went: train up a child in the way he should go... And I know you can finish that line yourself. Reality can take a backseat when it comes to what the parents think should be so.
