You know what's funny...at first I really loved it. Then I felt it was too long. So I cut the top. Now looking back at the footage, I like it all over again! Whichever way the wind blows me I guess LOL
You hair looks beautiful both ways! :-) I feel you on feeling like a weight was lifted off your shoulders. That's exactly how I felt when I did the big chop about 3 years ago and I don't regret it.
I'm so glad I found this video!I can relate so much. I too have taken the clippers out to shed all the damage (literally and symbolically.) Great video!
It's Gorgeous!!! Very becoming on you. I completely understand the whole “weight lifting" experience, when it comes to us big chopping. Been there.., done that a few times myself. Enjoy the simplicity of your short hair.
GORGEOUS darling!!! I was hoping you were gonna say you were donating!!! I was surprised to know it was an option when I cut mine, but I was persistent in finding out. But hey, everyone suffers from hair loss conditions, so everyone should be able to receive donated hair, right?! Anyway, lookin beautiful as always & hope you're still enjoying the freedom!
Looks great. You are so right... usually a big chop does coincide with a or some more weighty personal, emotional, psychological, physical and even spiritual issues. The cutting does seem to be a symbolic way of shedding those things. You are the 4th of my faves who have done the BC (for the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time) ... I have been contemplating doing the same for about a year, but chickened out. However, recently my hair has started to shed so over the past 8-10 weeks I've been cutting a little with each deep conditioning so I've cut a total of 4-6 inches since the 1st of April. Going to take a family photo tomorrow, after that maybe I'll get the nerve to do the BC before July.
I LOVE it!!! Me next. I completely understand the simplifying your life comment. I am so tired of "doing" my hair I want to run and get it cut off ASAP. The cut is really cute on you!
