Letting My Seiko MM300 Go

FOMO was why I bought an SLA023 last week. Only one local AD still had it on the website and they had to order it from Seiko Canada. Still in the honeymoon phase, but I feel like it entered my collection at the right time.

Hi I sold it to help fund my Sinn 144 Anniversary model, was almost 2 years ago now. It was my second MM300 I'd owned but just couldn't on with it as it always felt top heavy Sir

Glad I'm not the only one a change of bracelet can make all the diffiencet when it comes to the balance and feel of a watch

Was a great watch but the guy I sold it to only had it a week and sold it on and so did the 2nd guy so its now on its 3rd keeper after me in the matter of a month :) Sir cant see myself going back this time

You chose the wrong strap, this watch works best on a crafter blue. It Corrales the weight while lightening the piece and still makes use of the clasp and balances out the look. Hexad prolly made the whole situation too heavy

I couldn't see myself buying another watch which over say 42mm anymore , but saying that right now i'm wearing a Seiko Tuna 48mm lol , the sweet spot for me is 38/41, Mr Lettuce :)

This was my 2nd MM300 and I just can't get a long with them , I pick this one up because the dealer was selling it new at half price ( never pay full RRP on a Seiko ) The SLA047J1 is cool and I'm sure its just me and your going to love it but have you seen the new MM300 models SLA077 and SLA079

I my friend had a £10k GS and it had the very same clasp on it which I thought was a little disappointing , I've seen a Sinn 144 st s Anniversary ii I fancy Sir

@Click Spring I've been eyeing a Sinn U50 fully tegmented version. I love everything about the watch except the clasp, which is really poor construction compared to the rest of the watch.

Also might not be able to (rebuy it). Word on the street is it might be discontinued soon. I'd put it away in a safe for a few months then reassess unless you need the funds. I don't think this particular watch is going to go down in value. I could be biased tho - I paid well under MSRP for mine brand new and am also still in the honeymoon with mine. As far as the top heavy aspect... I don't feel uncomfortable wearing mine during the day for week on end. It keep it tighter than other watches tho because yes it moves around more. What I do notice is my wrist hurts more if I have been wearing it to bed. Most watches I wear to bed no problem but I do wake up with this one causing some problems from time to time.

@@Wasabi_Master I can honestly say nope Sir , The balance of the watch is just all wrong plus they need to improve the end links as they don't match the lugs. The Sinn 144 Anniversary model I replaced it for I simply love and could never imagine selling , Its been my most wound watch of the last year 👍🏻 ps thanks for asking
