Not to call out almost every Layton twist but, it’s always traces back to someone with a lotta time and a lotta money to build the most elaborate stage isn’t it? 😂 I love the series
Proffesor Layton and the Unwound Future is my first non-mario DS game and it made me feel smart. The puzzles, the music, the story... I love the series!!!!
Level-5 really said. "Shut up! We need money ASAP!" And damn it, it works. I will throw everything at them for Fantasy Life and Layton. And their new IP DecaPolice looked interesting too.
Will Flora Reinhold finally come back in a Layton game? She was supposed to be important as Layton's adopted daughter and yet, nothing since the beginning of the second NDS game (she got secretly swapped by the nutjob rival of Layton for the rest of the game)...
Hey did you ever play "professor layton and the mansion of the deathly mirror"? I assume not as it was only a japanese title for a 2008 mobile phone and a temporary rerelease in 2011 but im curious haha
@@worldsboss it probably does, level-5 usually makes all their games in japanese dub first and then dub em pretty late into development, if not after initial japan release
Man decapolice looks sick af, im telling you Level-5 just makes some of the best JRPGs ever. Not only that i dont think they are capable of making a terrible game, most of their main line game series are great games!
@@worldsboss Level 5 does a lot of dubs. Due to their absence for a few years they might be short on cash and they could just stick to japanese. But I´m expecting atleast an english dub. I just really hope Layton will still have a german dub. I could get used to the english one, but I´m just so used to german.
Honestly, it's been years I've been, waiting for Level 5 to get their sh*t together and trying to work on something else than mainly Yokai Watch : / ('tho let's be honest, they'll milk that license as much as they can xD) Aside from Fantasy Life which was "ok" ('tho the new one seems nice as well) I'm really happy to have the come back of Layton, as it may ('tho I'm just hoping to be fair) for the come back of a dev' team / publisher that made my childhood (ni no kuni, inazuma eleven, dark cloud, layton's, etc.) Also just hearing the laytonish music made my heart and feels and nostalgia melt downright.
