Awesome presentation. Disagree about one small point…the choice of color space (Adobe 1998 vs. sRGB) is NOT relevant when shooting RAW-it only applies to JPG files.
Wanted to write the same thing, so much misinformation about that topic... it's also better to just export files in sRGB so you can be sure it will be rendered properly on other devices since it's the only widely properly supported color space.
Good shot of Milky Way & moon; Use the rear screen to manually focus and enlarge a star to focus on.Nikon full frame cameras have a long exposure noise reduction setting. And, Topaz noise reduction plug in for Photoshop works really well; My Nikkor 14-24 f 2.8 should work.
Dont' buy Sony if you care about astrophotography, they have the best lenses (especially if we talk about price/quality) but unfortunately the noise reduction algorithms they implement (even on RAW files) ruins the colors of the stars.
