I’m SO grateful for Travis + BuzzSprout!! I launched a podcast pre COVID and it was doing sooo well because of the tips, planning guide, and supports of his content!… Unfortunately, we couldn’t maintain the podcast when COVID hit due to a number of circumstances, BUT I’m about to start a new podcast and of course came back to BuzzSprout for the support! It’s amazing how much it’s changed in just a few years! I’m so very impressed with the company and Travis - they’ve been THEEEE #1 resource for me when it comes to podcasting! I feel confident, inspired, hopeful, prepared, empowered and educated because of this content. There is ZERO chance I would use any other distributor for my podcasting needs! Thanks, Travis! 🎊
Thank you so much for the kind words, Crissy! We're glad to be a part of your podcast journey. Btw! Be sure to check out Travis' RU-vid podcast @honestmarketingpodcast
To be honest, didn't know 2 or 3 I think!!! Great work Buzzsprout, once more!! I'm on a mission to spread podcasting in Greece, so thank you for teaching more and more day by day to share!! Stay safe people!!
Thanks for the list in the description! I wish there were timestamps since there's so much information here. It's a good problem to have! Just a suggestion :)
Nice series and well presented! I'm I correct to assume that using Magic Mastering would not be necessary (in fact redundant) if using Journalist Pro to process and export/publish your podcast?
#7 is a very toxic way to treat creatives. I think ideally you'd want to find a designer you like and pay them to create what you ask for. Making creatives bid against each other by creating work that they won't get paid for isn't great for any industry. I know you guys don't intend it this way, but it's a sad truth.
Hi Travis, just a quick question. I'm using Hindenburg Pro and Buzzsprout as podcast host. Is there any conflict with Hindenburg if I use Magic Mastering, because it's almost the same fonction ?
Hello from India Travis! Thank you so much for all these super informative videos - I may have watched almost all in preparation for my podcast launch in 2021 :) Two questions: 1. Are we to use magic mastering after editing, as you had mentioned in the Auphonic tutorial that sometimes the fade in and out of music get equalised as well - hence double checking If it’s the same with Magic Mastering? 2. Could you pls show us a before and after with Magic Mastering in a video so we can get a better understanding of the Magic Mastering magic!
Hey Ayesha! We're glad these videos have been helpful for you. 1. Magic Mastering will process your fades in a similar manner that Auphonic does. It's not super noticeable, but you can hear it if you're listening really closely 2. We'll make sure to do that in our next MM video. In the mean time, you can try Magic Mastering for free on your next (or first) podcast episode. You should see a pop-up when you go to upload giving you the option of applying MM to that episode. Feel free to write into our support team if you need help testing it out.
