When I get to the step at 9:00 minutes I never get the boot selector option. Instead I get a black screen on my tv and gamepad with sound coming out of the tv.
I’m about to get my Wii U after purchasing one not to long ago. While I don’t think I need Aroma as Tiramisu imo seems more stable and the features Aroma gives isn’t something I’d want, I appreciate you putting a guide out here for people who feel they want Aroma. Props to you! 🙌
This is pretty cool. You really should do another video about the features of Aurora. I've been wanting to get a white Wii U to use for just Wii and Aurora looks like an easy way to do it. I've got four Wii U's so I'm going to look into this.
Does that bother you? Seems like it. There are plenty of other more important things that should bother you. There are plenty Wii U's out there to buy, I'm not preventing anyone from buying them. Two were bought when the Wii U was the current system, two not too long ago that benefited local charity. Three of them are currently hooked up and have been used in the last few months.
@@justinium77 And you know this person how? Perhaps they have one for each of their kids and one hooked up in the living room? Seems like you're mad and jealous they have 4 wonderful amazing Wii U systems to do with whatever it is they please with them.
@@justinium77 The only one getting schooled here is you who had to edit their post because you spelled conscience wrong the first time. Nice try, slick. And he does own them if he's the one that purchased them. Just like he owns more Wii U systems than your whole family because you're POOR.
@@justinium77 If they get stolen, who is filing the insurance claim? His kids or himself? He would file the claim since he's the owner. Thank you and have a great day.
for some reason whenever i try to launch the environment loader, it just takes me to the user select screen. Ive tried hold a, b, x, and y and im still trying different combinations, but none have worked so far. does anybody know what i should do?
What are the advantages of installing Aroma? Aren't there homebrew applications that are incompatible with it? And has the icon limit on the Wii U menu been removed by Aroma?
It acts like the Nintendo Network. Its effectively going to be the replacement for the Nintendo Network when it goes down. Its in beta right now and a lot of stuff is still in the works but its the most viable option we will have post Nintendo servers going down for the Wii U. I encourage you to look further into it. It works on Aroma.@@austinyasmine7722
This is a really great tutorial but for some reason i cant access the homebrew channel at all nor the environmentloader. How do i reopen it with aroma?
I followed all of the instructions in the video and began trying to homebrew the vWii. My homebrew launcher seems to be gone from the mii maker app after switching to aroma(?). Do you know how to get it back into the mii maker or get to the launcher through another method? Thanks. Edit: The Homebrew Launcher was never an option in the boot selector after using your video to initially homebrew the console. The homebrew launcher did work then but not after switching to aroma.
Blair I've had success with many of your arguably easiest to follow on the internet console hacks. I want to hack my Wii u to play Wii u,Wii and gamecube games. Do I follow your other guide or is this aroma the most up to date?
The tiramisu video worked great. I tried to do this one, and when it loads I get a black screen with a message “Don’t run environmentloader twice. If you want to open the home brew launcher launch the mini maker app”. I can’t get it to do anything. I even put the sd card back to the backup with no change. How do I exit that to try again? The only thing I’m able to do is turn the Wii U off. Turning it back on goes right back to the same screen.
@johnmontgomery2321 I could be wrong, but it seems like tiramisu is the old version of Aroma. These are two different environments and only one can be running at a time. This might be where your error is coming from.
@@Neptune1967 I was finally able to get both, but I havent had luck with loading them from the boot screen. Luckily there’s an app that switches between the too. I wish retroarch would work with aroma.
No the Wii part of the Wii U is a completely different part of hardware so you will need to mod your Wii in Wii U just like how you did on the regular Wii
