Seriously! My top 4 favourite players ever are Zizou, Gerrard, Pirlo, and Alonso. I'd say Pirlo is probably the overall best passer, but NO ONE can make long passes like Xabi - he's incredible!

I don't know about early career number 10 Pirlo, but late career deep lying Juventus Pirlo was a centrebacks nightmare. Swaggering around, too small and efete to make a tackle, demanding the ball off the centrebacks toes, only to dally on it before passing it to the other centreback putting him under pressure who then hoofs it up the field whilst Pirlo does a little shrug for the televison cameras like "what can I do" a real fetishists player.

imagine being a player and seeing your coach being able to casualy dress up and helpin practise like this .... how do you not create an insane amout of respect and bond as a team , leverkuzen has some nice promising young players but the fact that they do so well isnt just pure luck or just having decent talent.

i’m just wondering, would it be allowed for a trainer to be a player at the same time? i mean it would be kinda practical to sub himself in if the other midfielders got injured or he could sub himself in just before a penalty shootout or whatever. sure, he would take up a place on the bench which would normally belong to a different player but i just wonder
