Nice shirt! I got a chambray one w/ white marble looking buttons at Goodwill for $9.99. Can't go wrong with a nice western shirt or Levis. Timeless American style. Cheers.
I had an old Nordstrom denim shirt but it’s almost white with years of wear. Also it had a loser fit. I recently got an Ely Cattleman dark denim shirt. It’s not a slim fit but more of a classic fit. I love it.
Barstow by Levi's is amazing. I agree with your review. I also have a chambray shirt (charcoal colour) by Ed Hardy and a classic denim shirt by American Eagle, both are good but Barstow is something exceptional. The nearest match to Barstow I can say is another western shirt I own which is by Wrangler. Mostly I own pocket friendly brands but there could be better shirts in the higher price range viz. Ralph Lauren, True Religion, Replay etc.
I’ve noticed the wrangler denim shirts I can find in the stores have a really long duck tail look to the back of them. Where this Levi’s shirt is almost equal length on the front and the back. Is there a specific model of the shirt that this is?
I'm a big fan of Wrangler denim shirts. They have numerous options as far as denim appearance. Indigo, Indigo with various aging treatments, stone wash, black, aged black, green, tan and their OG blue version which is stiff but breaks in nicely. Wrangler also has small run collaboration pieces with raw selvedge denim made in the USA.
