Gabriel Basurto was the Voice Actor for Levi, and I have the honor to talk with him in a convention. He told me for the that line of the Scream, he recorded that line multiple times. But there was a little mistake in the unload of the dubbing work.

Well, anger is expressed differently in different languages, which is partially the reason why we have dubs at all. It’s usually best to watch in your native tongue IMO. I’m sure the voice actors for the other languages expressed it well for the most part, but I can’t tell myself.

Португальский каким-то чудом похож на русский интонационно и по звучанию. Португальский вариант больше на польский смахивает, а бразильский - именно на русский. Иногда, когда слышишь и не прислушиваешься, появляется ощущение, что люди говорят на русском

Tbh the japanese dub is the best. I am brazillian and love brazillian dubs, specially that of Death Note, which was incredible (better than the original for me). But in AOT's case they expressed the emotions and personalities much better through their voices

English is the best. The actor was able to convey the rage that is so clearly written on Levi’s face. Japanese is a close second, but the rest seem to fall short :( they’re awkward and out of place compared to those two.

В русской у Кенни голос отвратный как по мне. А вот Леви подобран неплохо, хотя в озвучке от Deep он ему ещë лучше подходит.

Hot take, I think English is the best since it feels like Levi’s scream had more emotion in it than all of the others, but I do got to admit Japanese Kenny sounds better and more fitting

I’m sure most english speakers would agree, but we have to understand that that’s likely because we speak english. Tone is different across languages, not just words. And I’d assume our perception of Japanese “Kenny” being best or second best is partially because we weebs probably listen to japanese pretty frequently, and partially because it’s not that different from how the english actor acted it.
