One of my favorite sci-fi horror movies since I saw it in theaters at 7 and it’s Alien, The Thing and Resident Evil games in one. It looks fantastic on 4k

Awesome film, I just saw it so many times, so underrated underwater film, next to the abyss, also Daniel stern has best quotes what the hole my favorite scene he goes to find something treasure. Also I got 4k same here; I kept old blu ray 2014 from shout factory it was pretty good edition. Also it gorgeous beautiful 4k more lighter.

Nah. I like this movie, it's definitely adequate as a fun horror film, but you're being disingenuous comparing the levels of derivative between this and Alien/The Thing. Come on, now, every movie is somewhat derivative of other films, but this movie takes it to another level. You saying you don't understand it "at all," is kinda ridiculous. Again, i like the movie, but it's REALLY derivative, and tries to essentially do the exact same thing alien did. Anyway, still enjoyed the video. 🫡

It tries to do the same thing Alien did? How? Just because it has blue collar workers, similar production design, the same composer, and there's some kind of creature that grows in the corridors? It doesn't have the same growth phase, the origin of the creature is vastly different(Genetic Mutation vs. Alien Gestation/Growth), it has a vastly different tone, the lead is significantly different with Beck vs. Ripley, and those are just a few differences off the top of my head. It's not really as derivative of Alien to me as people make it out to be.
