I purchased some ribcage jeans thanks to your lovely vids!! They are awesome! However, one pair I noticed that the side seam is sewn with wider stitching. Such that when I'm wearing them, the sides almost look like they are pulling apart a tad (you can see the stitching a bit when I wear them). One ribcage jean pair has closer stitching and I didn't notice this. I can't help but wonder if the wider stitching and the pulling apart effect is normal? I also bought 501 shorts and they do the same. The ribcage has the 1% elastane and the 501 shorts have none but regardless both have wider stitching and it seems to be a looser stitch. I checked my Wedgie fit jeans and they have closer stitching and therefore you can't see the seam pulling apart. Please help? Thanks in advance!
Do all your wedgie styles fit basically the same in upper thigh? I love the wedgie shorts but they are too short so debating a pair of wedgie straights, cut off
Thanks for the vid!! i have the same measurements as you. Have you tried the 501 shorts? compared to ribcage shorts... I’m trying to decide which shorts to buy
Thank you for this video :) I have a question, I bought 2 ribcages, one black and one dark blue, I also wear a 25 and I was wondering if it was better to go with a 24? Does it stretch a lot?
Sorry for such a late response, but I do find that they stretch with wear. But nowadays I don’t wear them because my torso is too short and they’re uncomfortable
hi! I am having the hardest time with finding the right fit. can you help me? my exact waist measurement is 25.5". according to the levi's size chart, this would put me at size 24. I have ribcages in size 24 and they fit nicely in butt and thighs. at the waist, they do not gap when I am standing up right. however, when I bend down, there is a huge waist gap. Is this normal? could it have to do with how high the rise is or should I size down to 23?
Hey sorry for the late response. You have the right size. I think because of the super high rise the gap can’t be helped when you bend down. Instead of the pants being pulled from the side seams(which keeps it flat when you are standing). I currently wear a 24 in my newer purchase and my ribcage in 25 do the same thing. Plus sizing down in such a high rise would be so uncomfortable when you aren’t standing. You can always put an elastic in the waist to help, I do it every once in a while and it does help
I Love the ones you got for $15 from Marshall’s... does it have the exact style/make/color on the tag for me to purchase??? I feel I Need these in my wardrobe.. loving the slight acid wash look as well
Loved this review! I just got my first pair of Ribcage jeans and now I’m obsessed! I want to find the exact pair of the first jeans you tried on - the regular wedgie. Can you link those please?
Hi! I was wondering if it would be alright for me to know your thigh measurements? ( I was just wondering because my thighs are very big in comparison to my waist) Thank you
I wash all my clothes in cold water and put them in the dryer, but not very often. If the material is at lease 98% cotton they don’t stretch out as fast
Hi Julie. It looks like a 36eu converts to a size US 6. Based on the generic sizing chart from Levi's a size 6/7 tend to be 28W. However, with Levi's the sizing is never consistent with every single style of jean so you might have to order/reorder to find the perfect size for your body type. I suggest reading the reviews on their website to see if its recommended to size up/down for each jean. I'm finding that out for myself. I hope this helps :)
@@ctalley9667 hi. About 100% cotton wedgie jeans I’m confused on what size to get. I’m usually a 28 in skinny jeans and I have thicker thighs. Should I size up to a 29? I’m scared that I might not fit into the 28 like I won’t be able to pull them up my thighs. I know I have to break them in but I need to be able to pull them up my thighs
I’d size up if you have thinker thighs. Mine aren’t that thick and these are tight, plus I’ve tried other ones on in the store and they’re always really tight in my size
