LEWS VS ABU GARCIA! (Which Is Better?) 

Im a ABU Garcia MAX Z or anything nex I'll get the Lew's XFINITY or LZR pro. In Lew's i have the classic with the cork is just good looking with the black and gold. Abu Garcia or Lew's are good for me and what I do.

In my experience of owning over a dozen Lews and Abu reels.... The lower-end to entry level Lew's reels are better price to performance than the equivalent Abu Garcia reels. I.e. LFS/SLP > Black Max up to Pro Max and even the base model Revo X. The higher end Abu Garcia reels are better than the higher end Lew's reels as far as performance and durability. Most of my Lew's reels from the BB1 Pro/Tournament MP up to the Hypermag...they start making zipping noises after a few months of hauling in fish. It's either the anti-reverse or the plastic gears that drive the worm gears that seems to start going from the torquing. The only Lew's reel I owned that didn't do this was the Pro-Ti, I guess the metal handle sideplate keeps the mainshaft aligned better and didn't wear on the anti-reverse or the plastic gears. The Abu reels I owned like the Premier/EXD/ALX/AL-F/41 Beast never have this issue and they seem to stay smoother longer. Honestly the Abu's are basically the good things that I like about Lew's-except they seem more durable. Just my honest $0.02. I'm not a brand loyalist, I've bought and tried every major brand's offerings, Lews/Abu/Shimano/Daiwa, etc.

My experience with the black max was terrible. I would personally pick lews over abu Garcia any day

Good video man but i will say you arent doing any reel justice by using any rod. I run bith Lews and AG every day i fish. I have a cheap 150$ lews rod and reel that outperformed my revo sx with vendetta rod in casting light weight baits all day. The AG combo wins in other baits and category so it depends on what your fishing with. But you are doing a diservice to either reel by not using rods designed for the fishing your doing. Not necessarily same brand but if you throw a 20$ rod on a 100$ baitcaster you may as well have a 20$ set up. You just cant tell the difference. In the end im Abu all the way lol. Oh yea Hoyt all the way also lmao. Same thing different topic. Thanks for the video

You havent used any of Abu-Garcias high end reels? The Revo, Veritas, or Zata lines are pretty damn good. I use both Lews and AG. They both are dope AF.

In my opinion Abu Garcia is more user friendly and better for budget and are tougher and amazing for beginner,but in overall quality if you spend more money lews is better and more quality

Have to say your impressive 👍👍. I watched I think all your reviews on the Lews American Hero vs Abu Garcia Silver Max. Im confused now after watching Tunis video. In your other videos u came out saying Lews is better in combo, if buying just reels go Garcia, combos go for Lews? Other then, Lews supports the troops, Garcia been around way before u even thought about. I like the Garcia except for the cast stop button? Excellent job 👍👍

Abu Garcia gives more lefty bs 🧐 is why I believe you like them more js my guy happy fishing I love both brands and more if it can pull in a fish then it's worth the buy in my opinion
