Exactly!! Lexie is just the most heartbreaking death!! Its the only death where I cry everytime.. Mark and Lexie realizing they belong Together ❤❤ !! But I am Happy that since they killed Lexie, they killed Mark too! I would HATE for him to either be sad About her forever - or the WORST option: him finding someone Else after this
Yeees, and had your body almost be eaten by wolves is not enough, they didn't give her a funeral or even a tribute episode. I understand that her death was necessary for the show, bc Chyler doesn't wanted to be there anymore, but they handled really bad with Lexie post death.
@@marialuisamaiacaetano7262 True, I agree. But I'm just glad that they named the hospital after her and Mark. That was honestly pretty brilliant from Jackson.
The acting really made it. I thought it was good they built up to that point and her word vomitting was also in tune with her character of being jumbled and spitting things out on her mind etc. With the acting being good and how they wrote it, it felt more genuine and less cheesy. It could have sounded really soap opera but I dont think it did.
Honestly I feel like Meredith‘s great love was Lexi and when Lexi died she was heartbroken ever since. like if we think about it Medusa only came after Lexi died, she’s never been the same
I mean she was the only family member in Mer's life that actually wanted to build a good relationship with her, Lexie wanted from the beginning to be a good sister and to be there for her, and I think that Mer knew that she needed it a lot, that's why her death affected so much in Mer's life
it’s great because when she lexie was stress eating it was because Chyler Leigh was actually pregnant and they used her excessive stress eating to try to hid her growing belly
years and years later and lexie’s death still makes me cry like a baby. the greatest crime of greys was that lexie and mark never did fully end up together. they both died one after the other, but it would’ve been so amazing to see them be happy together.
When Christina said that she could hear the animals fighting over Lexie’s body It was seriously so gruesome and unbelievable sad to hear. Lexie was my favorite character…
When Callie said 'Right in the boob.' 😂😂😂 We had such amazing iconic characters, I miss the Grey's we had in like season 8. Is it even the same show at this point?? 😩😩
Right! I feel one of the things the show has really lost if the humour. We used to have these great smart doctors who were awkward as hell - but that’s what made them relatable. The characters weren’t perfect. They had flaws. They were human. Now the show feels like it’s trying to make us love all the characters by trying to make them as perfect as possible.
Mark: Callie is pregnant! Lexie: oh that’s great omg! Mark: *stares at lexie* Marks mind: it’s mine Lexie: HOW THE HELL DID I GET IN THIS POSITION TWICE!!!???
In an alternative universe which greys anatomy has explored Lexie got pneumonia after she confessed her love so mark decided to stay. with less weight and a smaller plane the plane remained intact but Arizona still loses her leg. Lexie recovers and gets together with mark which by the time Derek dies they are married. When Callie decides to move Lexie and mark move with them to a private surgical center in Staten Island. They have two kids basically right after one from adoption Wendy and one biological Morty (aged 3 and 2 months) and yea that is what I thing happens
I adore Lexi and I would practically die for Chyler both as Lexi and Alex but you gotta admit they did not try AT ALL to cast an actress who looked like Meredith, Thatcher, or even her own mom 😂😂 Worth it though Lexi was perfect 🥰
@@sarahallen2887 v true v true I look way more like my aunt than my immediate family I just think it would’ve packed a way heavier punch to have Lexi and Meredith look similar even just by like eye color or something especially because as the show went on they stressed their relationship much less not in a bad way just after a while Lexi feels like a character that would’ve existed anyway but was Meredith’s sister for the drama and I wish they had put more effort into stressing that part.
Gosh I love Lexie and Alex SO MUCH!!! By the way didn’t Mer and Lexie have another sister? They don’t mention her, like ever… Lexie’s full sister, who had a baby in Seattle Grace, or did I remember that wrong?
@@sarahallen2887 Right Molly! Kind of weird how they never talked about her, especially since Lexie had a little niece/nephew who she never saw. (Btw, I love your profile picture! Wanda is amazing!)
One thing that hurts me is when the episode meredith and derek were talking about genomes and if there is a possibility mer had the alzheimer gene, the worst part is when she mentioned that who would take care of her children if she ever had alzheimer since she wrote on her will that Lexie would be the legal guardian of the children if something ever happened to them.
@@shajonmiah9263 Do you? Cause you're the one pressed about it lmfao. I do not care about Greys Anatomy anymore since Season 20. "ILL NEVER FORGIVE SHONDA FOR THIS" has been a catchphrase said by fans since George died in Season 6 every time any inconvenience happens, no matter how minor, no matter if Shonda hasnt been involved in the decisions for ages. Similar to the Fan Phrase in The Walking Dead that goes "IF DARYL DIES, WE RIOT" that often has DARYL replaced with any fan Favorite character. Figures of Speech. You need any more examples?
Alex’s face @ 5:02 after Lexie said “Howww!?” Is freaking hilarious and so realistic 😂 like a kid trying not to laugh at his sibling getting in trouble with mum (Bailey)
When I first started watching this series as a teenager and she was introduced, I thought she was the most annoying character to ever exist. I thought this for years. Then during one of my rewatches over quarantine, I realized she wasn’t annoying at all. She was optimistic. And she tried her hardest to stay optimistic through all the tragedy these characters were put through, that she was put through. I guess I expected her to morph into a jaded character much like the others did when they faced unfair and difficult challenges, but not Lexie. She remained bright, animated, and hopeful as everything that made her happy was essentially taken away from her. And I loved that about her because she refused to let the negative change her no matter how bad it got. I was so used to angst and these characters letting it shape them that I didn’t know what to do when faced with a character who refused to let that happen to her. She went from being a a character I hated to my all time favorite. And the fact that she was all alone, and died that way (I think Lexi didn’t believe Mark meant it when he told her he loved her and was just soothing her before her death) makes me sad on levels that are ridiculous to feel for a fictional character. She was truly a gift.
I don’t understand why they had to kill Lexi the way they did. Or even why they had to kill her at all. There are ways to write characters goodbye without killing them; and the wholesome and kind person that Lexi was… she deserved better.
Can we talk about how Lexie told George about Alex and his paper about his ‘testicular cancer’ and later in like season 13? I can’t remember but Dr.Webber was yelling at him about raising them as surgical residents and he brought it up and I had totally forgot about this!
Lexi was such an amazing character she made me love her so fast and when she died it was unbearable and the fact that Meredith didn’t get to say goodbye to her hurt me
4:52 lives in my head rent free, I'm on season 13 and I'm still thinking about Lexie and this moment lmfao I'm glad so many ppl feel the same way from the looks of it
